1. WORKING HOURS
The total official hours (Difference between first swipe in and last swipe out) are 45 hours per
week. The minimum hours spent in a day should be no less than 6.
The employee can complete the working hours anytime between 10 AM to 10 PM subject to
approval by his immediate manager.
The regularity will be tracked by IN & OUT time and will be a contributing factor towards your
annual appraisal.
HR will send the employees Working Hours data for the week on every Thursday.
DAILY HOURS: If a person doesnt complete 6 hours in a day the leaves will be deducted by
default as per the rules mentioned below.
o Daily hours more than 4 hours but less than 6 hours: 0.25 Leaves
o Daily hours more than 3 hours but less than 4 hours: 0.5 Leaves
o Daily hours less than 3 hours: 1 Leave
WEEKLY HOURS: If a person doesnt complete 45 hours in a week, the leaves will be deducted
by default as per the rules mentioned below
o Weekly Working Hours more than 43 hours but less than 45 hours: 0.25 Leaves
o Weekly Working Hours more than 41 hours but less than 43 hours: 0.5 Leaves
o Weekly Working Hours between 36 and 41: 1 Leave
o Thereafter 1 leave for every multiple of 9 hours deficit.
IMPORTANT: Please note that the option of flexible hours is not a right available to the
employees by default. Flexible hours have to be granted by your immediate manager. What
this means is that an employee by himself cannot choose to work on flexible timings but he
can do so with understanding and approval of the immediate manager. The decision of the
immediate manager to grant or reject flexible hours will be final in this case.

2. MISSED SWIPE IN / SWIPE OUT
If the employee has missed swiping in, then he needs to forward an email to
track_veridic@yahoogroups.com with subject MISSED SWIPE IN containing date when the
employee missed the swipe in.
If the employee has missed swiping out, then he needs to forward an email to
track_veridic@yahoogroups.com with subject MISSED SWIPE OUT containing date when
the employee missed the swipe out.
IMPORTANT: In case there is a Missed Swipe In or Missed Swiped Out and there is no email
on track the leaves will be deducted accordingly.

3. PERSONAL CALLS
It is expected that employees avoid or minimize personal calls during office hours. If taking
personal calls during office hours is unavoidable, it is expected that the employees try to keep
them as short as possible. Every time, you have to take a personal call during office hours, the
employee should step out of office premises and attend the call if the call extends beyond 2
minutes.

It is expected that employees use the time in office productively. Employee's time sheets and
work history are now being tracked actively by MPX management. MPX would be conducting
reviews of each employee's timesheets to ascertain their productivity. The feedback from MPX
will be a major contributing factor towards your annual appraisal.

4. LUNCH HOURS AND BREAK
The employees can take Lunch Hours and Breaks as per their work schedule.
The employees can have Lunch ONLY in Cafeteria.
Breaks of any kind should be taken outside office premises to minimise disturbance to other
team members.
Even though rules have been defined based on first and last swipe in, the In hours i.e. the
hours actually spent inside the office will also be monitored and concern will be raised to your
managers if they fall below a reasonable amount. Ideally total hours in office as 45 will equate
to 40 hours inside the office. E.g. It should not happen that the total hours are 45 but the
actual in hours are only 30.

NOTE:
In case there is a critical requirement, it is expected that employees extend their working hours
as per the plan. At Veridic, we appreciate the time management skills of employees and
discourage late sitting unless business reasons demand otherwise. We believe overtime should
be an exception rather than a general rule. To maintain this work-life balance, we need to
ensure that the time spent in office is used productively.

Overtime will be compensated with a compensatory leave only by approval of MPX
management. If the overtime was due to issues with deployments which should have been
caught by testing at VERIDIC, MPX will not provide compensatory off.

Compensatory leaves have to be taken within 2 months of being granted.

5. LEAVE AND EXCEPTIONS REQUESTS:
All requests for leaves and exceptions will be sent to and approved only by Project Managers with cc
to shuchi@veridic.in and anisha@veridic.in. Please refer to detailed Leave Policy.

6. DAILY WORK:
At end of each day before leaving, each employee will send an email to track_veridic@yahoogroups.com
with subject TODAY with brief description of what the employee has worked on / achieved today.
Only headings of the tasks are sufficient.

REGULATIONS
If there is any issue due to which you are not able to meet the policies of VERIDIC, please
discuss this at the earliest available opportunity with Anisha Bansal (HR). Employees adherence
to the policies will be a contributing factor along with performance in his role.
Recurrent violation of the VERIDIC policies may result in strict disciplinary action against the
offending employee which may include poor appraisal for the coming year, demotion and
termination of employment. Demotion and termination of employment will be done as per the
agreed notice period in the terms of employment.
Always remember that our survival and growth as an organization depends on each and every employee
of the organization. We are at a critical juncture which will decide how well we perform over the coming
years. The outlook looks good and we need to ensure that our organizational environment does not
deteriorate as we grow. This would ensure that we are able to grow fast and maintain our growth rate
in coming years.
