SWOT analysis is one of the major strategic tools widely used to comprehend the status quo of an entity
and is very resourceful to provide future guidelines. This simple yet significant model provides a better
understanding where IBA currently stands and the arenas open to enter, explore, and enrich to attain
future goals and standards.
Where I BA currently stands:
One of the top business schools in Bangladesh, IBA DU is widely coveted for its excellent educational
standards. With its reputed programs coupled with a highly caliber faculty unit, IBA has made
tremendous contributions to different fields, both at home and abroad.
Where we want to see I BA in the next ten years:
In the next ten years span we hope to see IBA establishing itself among the top ten business schools in
Asia, an achievable yet challenging goal. We also hope to see more collaboration with local and foreign
business schools and research centers. Global recognition and alignment with global standards in terms of
curriculum, content, grading system and others are expected to be achieved within the stated time period.
