Master Chef Fettuccini serves 2


Ingredients List:

5t Olive Oil
2 Shallots
2 Mushrooms
Onion
2 Rashers of Bacon
1 Garlic Clove
pkt Fettuccini Pasta
2 Eggs
200ml Cream
cup Parmesan Cheese


Method

1. Prepare equipment and gather ingredients.
2. Place a pot of water onto stove to boil.
3. Peel wash and cut shallots.
4. Wash and slice mushrooms
5. Peel and dice onion.
6. Remove fat from bacon and cut into strips.
7. Crush garlic.
8. When water is boiling carefully add fettuccini and cook until it is all
dente. Carefully drain pasta and return to the pot.
9. Fry shallots until softened. Add onions, mushrooms and bacon and
cook until bacon is evenly browned.
10. Break the eggs and separate the yolks from the white.
11. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, cream and cheese.
12. Add the bacon mixture to the pasta and then pour the creamy mixture
over the top. Stir gently
13. Serve and garnish appropriately.

55-60 Get teacher to check equipment, sweep up and put
everything away



Notes:
1) After you have taken everything out of the utensils box put it back
under your bench.
2) When using a chopping board put either a damp cloth or a mat under
it to stop it from slipping.
3) After you have finished making your fettuccini wash and dry
everything.
4) To use a scale put the bowl/plate on first then press the on tare/on and
off button so it turns back to 0 then place the ingredients in the
bowl/plate that you are measuring.
5) When drying a knife place the back of the knife into the tea towel and
swipe forward gently.
6) NEVER put a knife in the sink especially if it is bubbly.
7) When you first get to your bench make sure you have the following
- Washing detergent
- Hand soap
- A plug
- A dish scrubber
- x2 tea towels
8) Make sure that you turn the stove on straight away so that the water
can be boiling.
