Dear Milford Residents:

REGULATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL 2014 LEAF PROGRAM

Leaves must be raked to the edge of the sidewalk or front property line (if no sidewalk exists).

DO NOT RAKE LEAVES ONTO THE SIDEWALK OR INTO THE STREET.
PER ARTICLE 13 OF THE MILFORD GENERAL BY-LAWS, SWEEPING
MATERIALS ONTO STREETS OR SIDEWALKS IS PROHIBITED AND VIOLATORS
WILL BE PROSECUTED.
Do not bag leaves for curbside removal.
No household garbage, trash, grass, sticks, rocks, etc. will be accepted. Leaf collection equipment will
only pick up leaves.
Do not pile leaves under low hanging branches.
Bulk of leaves will be vacuumed. Disposal of remaining leaves will be the responsibility of the
homeowner.
Due to time restraints and inclement weather, we are unable to return for a second pick-up. Residents must have
their leaves out on the scheduled date or they will forfeit the service.

The Transfer Station located on Cedar Street will be open for your convenience. Transfer Station hours may be
obtained by calling the Milford Board of Health office at (508) 634-2315.

Leaf Removal hours of operation will be MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
WEATHER PERMITTING.

Department Office at (508) 473-1274, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please check the following
