PARENTS, TEACHERS AND COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION
CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

PREAMBLE


We, the parents, guardians, and teachers of Nueva Vista Elementary School, Ormoc City
North District, Ormoc City Division, Ormoc City, Parents Teachers and Community Association
(PTCA), imploring the aid of the Divine Providence, this day, voluntarily join and commit
ourselves, binding together to obtain fullest and highest degree of moral, social and spiritual
welfare of our children and promote closer relationship between the parents, the teachers and
the community, do hereby obtain and promulgate this Constitution and By-Laws.
So help us GOD.

ARTICLE I Name and Domicile:
Section 1. This association shall be known as the Parents, Teachers and Community
Association of Nueva Vista Elementary School, Ormoc City North District, Ormoc
City Division, Ormoc City.
Section 2. The office of the association shall be at Nueva Vista Elementary School and shall
serve as its repository of all documents pertaining thereto;

ARTICLE II Membership:
Section 1. Any parents, guardians, and teachers who has a child enrolled in Nueva Vista
Elementary School under Ormoc City Division regardless of race, religion and creed
are automatically become a member of the association.
Section 2. All PTCA members shall donate a yearly PTCA donation in the amount of one peso
(P1.00) per pupil enrolled at Nueva Vista Elementary School under Ormoc City
Division effective school year 200_-200_

ARTICLE III Objectives
Section 1. To Establish and maintain a closer and harmonious relationship and foster
understanding between the parents and the teachers.
Section 2. To uplift the financial condition of the association thru Fund Raising.
Section 3. To cooperate with the school administration in any school activities and maintain a
High Standard of quality education.
Section 4. To foster, encourage and enhance cooperative efforts and fraternal relationship
among members.

ARTICLE IV Organization:
Section 1. These By-Laws shall be binding to all grade levels of Nueva Vista Elementary School
Association namely: Homeroom PTCA and General PTCA.
Section 2. Homeroom PTCA: The Homeroom PTCA is an association where the jurisdiction is
only limited to a specific grade level composed of parents and teachers by electing
its officers who are the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Auditor, PIO and Sgt.
At Arms. The Teacher in-charge will act as adviser.
Section 3. General PTCA: all the officers and members of the Homeroom PTCA and its grade
level shall organize their General PTCA by electing its officers who are the
President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, PIO, Sgt. At Arms and
Board of directors at least five (5) but not more than fifteen (15) composed of
Chairman, Vice-
