MATH BOOT CAMP

Math Boot Camp will reinforce your
strengths through exercise and repetition of arith-
metic concepts. With this approach, your confi-
dence, speed, and accuracy, while doing math
problems, will improve. To succeed in this en-
deavor, you must be willing to push yourself.
Sometimes the activities may appear to be point-
less, or elementary. Dont worry. Keep the faith.
By the end of the workshops, you will be a strong-
er math test taker. This workshop is designed for
8
th
graders preparing for high school entrance
exams. Sessions begin PROMPTLY at 10:00
am.* Please be on time. Fee: $40. (Free for
Summer 2014 participants.)

HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE*

History projects, research papers, or
just regular homework can sometimes be difficult
to start or complete. Sometimes a new perspec-
tive is all you need. We can help! No fee..

*General tutors are available from 9:30 am - 1:00
pm. Boot camp participants may seek individual-
ized homework help before or after their sessions

Vocabulary Boot Camp will jumpstart
your verbal and written skills. This workshop will
help improve your writing, grammar usage, and
reading comprehension. You will be reading and
speaking like a champ by Thanksgiving! As with
Math, you must be willing to push yourself. With
reading prompts, writing exercises, and vocabu-
lary games, you will become a more well-rounded
student and learner. This workshop is designed
for 8
th
graders preparing for high school entrance
exams. Sessions begin PROMPTLY at 10:00
am.* Please be on time. Fee: $40. (Free for
Summer 2014 participants.)

SCIENCE FAIR MENTORING*

to explore topics may not be studied in-depth dur-
ing regular school hours. So, if you have a burn-
ing interest that only scientific study can satisfy,
do a science project. We can help! No fee.

*General tutors are available from 9:30 am - 1:00
