My name is Marissa B. Acierto and this is asupplemental declaration to explain my
evidence.
Please take judicial notice ofarticle "A San Diego Spring That's Strictly Personal,"
published April of2005 on pages 1and 6-7, in The Philippine Village Voice. The article,
written by Romeo, references me, accusing me ofbeing a liar and abad person, and talks about
our sexual experiences, see EXHIBIT "A."
On April 8, 2005, Romeo was stalking me and 1called the National City Police
Department. They wrote anincident report of mycall, seeEXHIBIT"B."
On April 9, 2005 Romeo was continuing to stalk me, so 1called the National City Police
Department. They wrote an incident report, documenting my call to the police, see EXHIBIT
"C."

On March 29, 2005 I received a phone call from Romeo Pilpil Marquez saying "Ok,
Tim, don t even try to change the phone numbers, ok, because I can always find
out and then if I can't reach you by phone I will have to go there everyday
just to be able to get the new numbers. So, don't even try it on me. I have
been trying to be courteous with you but here I'm being forced to do something
at I don t like to do, like writing about my betrayal, your betrayal on me,
you know, the Filipino community, you, Edna, Lotto, everyone. Everyone betrayed
me. I m going to write about it. I'm sorry it has to be personal. It has to be
personal for all things to be equal. Bye."

sl )/in December of2004, Romeo's third wife, Dr. Maria Reyes Mason, came to my office
4jj and warned me about Romeo.
5|| / ^or the past 2months, Romeo has been coming to my office, business associates,
6 businesses around my office, and my home asking people ifthey have seen me and asking them
7I) personal questions about me.
811 The morning of March 29,2005, he called me and left avoice message on my office
9 phone, saying;:do't even try to change your phone numbers, because Ican always fmd them out
10 and ifIcan't reach you by phone, Iwill have to go there everyday. I'm being forced to do

14 March 29,2005, he went into surrounding businesses asking people in surrounding
15 businesses and businesses as fer as Claremont. California ifthey knew where Iwas and if1was
1si ^t'e ornot,.kle,called me repeatedly. 1finally answered my phone and agreed to meet him at
17 St^leshle told me that "it would be blood" and that he "didn-t mind going to jail." 1got nervous
181 and agreed to meet him. When1met him, Itold him that we were just fliends. He would not
accept that and gave me roses. Itold him that Ihad to go and Ileft.
In the evening of March 30,2005. Romeo came to my house looking for me. My aunt,
Erenia Mou, answered the door and told him that Iwas not there, while Ihid in the house. He then
asked ifmy car was there, when 1would be home, and where Iwas. She said that she did not
know. He then asked what my home phone number was. Again, she said that she did not know.
He then left and circled my house twice.
April 1.2005,IcameintomyofaceandRomeowassittingthere,waitingforme.Iasked
hun to leave and he refused. Since he refused to leave, Ihad to get my son and leave work. After
Ileft he told my co-worker that he "would be back" and he left. Ithen retumed to my office.
Romeo then retumed to my office and 1called the poUce (dispatch #3364411). ITte police came.
Officer Tracey Maes gave me her card and called him and asked him to stop contacting me.
April 8,2005, Romeo called me at my office, saying he needed someone's phone number
and asked me to call him to speak to him about our relationship. Itold him not to call me and to
4|| leave me alone. Icalled Officer Maes that had come out on April 1, 2005. She did not answer so
5 Icalled the National City police. The police took an incident report (#2005040813439). Officer
0 Mike Clement came to my office and again called Romeo telling him not to call me anymore. The
7 officer then told me that 1needed to file arestraining order.
8 April 9,2005 Romeo came to my office. He asked my friend at the office to come outside
9 and talk to him. My fiiend asked him what he wanted to talk about. Itold him, from inside ofthe
10 office, to please go away. 1then called the police (incident #2005040913517). OjBficer Steve
1-j Villariasa called Romeo and, again, told him not tocontact me.
12 April 10,2005, Officer Maes called me to ask me howIwas. She told to get arestraining
-13 orderagainst Romeo.
1411 April 16,2005,1 sent Romeo anote asking him to discontinue my ad in his newspaper.
5 He continued torun myad, however.
1611 ^ April, 2005, he circled my office 6times in avehicle other than his own.
7|| May 5,2005, he had his assistant editor caU me asking me ifIwas going to submit an
18 article or do an interview. Ideclined to both and said no comment. He went ahead and printed an
19 article with many sexual inference about me, and caUed me names in the article, which he had done
20 one time before as well. He printed this article after telling people that he was writing it as asmear
2-1 campaign against me. My mother was sent acopy of the article and Ibelieve that it was Romeo
22 who sent the articleto her.
2311 May 11, 20051 sent Romeo anote asking him again to remove my ad from his
24 newspaper and to tell him that Iwould no longer be acolumnist for his newspaper. He still
25 continues to run my ad and list me as acolumnist in his newspaper.
26 Romeo has been married 3times. His first wife, in the PhiUippines, disappeared and
27 cannot be found. The man she was seeing is also missing and cannot be found. His third wife
28 found out that he was still married to his second wife, so she filed for an annulment. She also

petitioned for arestraining order against him for domestic violence. (#DS 17014). Ibelieve that he
also has a pending deportation case against him.
Based on his history with his previous wives and his on-going stalking and harassment of
me, I amin fear of mysafety.
