Rediscovering Salat: Part 13

There is one hadith that before the actual takbir, it is recommended to recite 6
other takbirs. Sh. Sadooq, Imam Jafar (as):
One day the prophet went out to pray, imam hussain who was young at the time
came with him. Imam hussain learned how to speak a later age, to the extent that
people thought that he would never speak. He stood by rasoolullah in prayer, and
the prophet said takbir and imam hussain tried to repeat it but he couldnt.
prophet repeated it 7 times until imam hussain had said it properly.
One of the wisdoms gets us to get closer to perceiving Allahs existence.
Stretching of our mind.
Wajibat and mustahabat start from sunnahs or stories. Running between safa
and marwah, or hajj in general.
After the third Takbr statement, you may say the following:

O Allah, You are verily the King and

the Manifest Truth.

There is no god save You. All glory

be to You.

I have wronged myself;

so, (please) forgive my sin.

Verily, none can forgive sins save

You.
After the fifth Takbr statement, you may say the following:

labbayka wa sa`dayka
Here I am responding to You and here
I am trying to please You.

walkhayru f yadayka All goodness is at Your Hand.

walshsharru laysa ilayka Evil is never ascribed to You.

walmahdiyyu man hadayta A true guided is he whom You guide.

`abduka wabnu `abdayka
I, Your servant and the son of Your
two servants,

dhallun bayna yadayka

am standing in submission before
You,

minka wa bika wa laka wa ilayka

and I am from You, through You, to
You, and for You.

l malja'a wa l manj There is neither haven nor shelter

wa l mafarra minka ill ilayka

nor escape from You except with
You.

subnaka wa annayka
All glory be to You; I am seeking
Your kindness.

tabrakta wa ta`layta Blessed You are and Exalted You are.

subnaka rabba albayti alarmi

All glory be to You, O Lord of the
Sacred House.

After the seventh Takbr statement, you may say the following: image

wajjahtu wajhiya lilladh faara

alssamwti wal-ara
I have turned myself to Him Who
originated the heavens and the earth,

`limi alghaybi walshshahdati
the Knower of the unseen and the
witnessed,

anfan musliman [and I am] upright and Muslim

wa m ana min almushrikna and I am not of the polytheists.

inna alt wa nusuk Surely, my prayer, my sacrifice,

wa mayya wa mamt my life, and my death

lillhi rabbi al`lamna

are (all) for Allah, the Lord of the
worlds.

l sharka lah No associate has He;

wa bidhlika umirtu and this am I commanded,

wa ana min almuslimna and I am of those who submit.

Surah ikhlaas and suah kafirron you cant switch in the middle
