Description
The Battery cabinet SY-310 is prepared for
decentralized power distribution to panels/units in
the AutroSafe interactive fire detection system.

The cabinet has room for 2 batteries with a
maximum capacity of 24V / 27Ah (2x12V / 27Ah). To
obtain capacities greater than 24V / 27Ah, several
cabinets in a rack can be utilized.

The battery cabinet includes fuses and terminal
blocks for cable connection.

The power supply BSS-103 in the fire alarm control
panel BS-310/320 / controller BC-320 is provided
with temperature control for temperature
compensated battery charging voltage. The
temperature sensor is located in the battery cabinet
to allow different environments.

When a solution with external battery connection is
used, the sensor must be removed from the Power
Supply BS-103/01. A 3m cable (delivered with the
battery cabinet) must then be connected between
the power supply BSS-103/01 in the fire alarm
control panel / controller and the external
temperature sensor mounted on a connector in the
battery cabinet SY-310. (Please refer to the
installation handbook 116-P-ASAFE-BC/DE).




It is recommended that the batteries be replaced at
least every 4 years (depending on temperature).
When batteries are replaced, only batteries of the
same type should be used.
