Dear Friend,
This scripture -from the Gospel o-f John reminds us that Jesus
gave up heaven itself in obedience to His Father's desire to
communicate His love for us and to ultimately die in place of
us on the cross at Calvary. As we remember His entry into
the world as a baby, we also remember His second entry into
the world will be as King and Conqueror!

Looking forward to His Second Coming, we are
ourselves as individuals and as a mission to reach
by the year 2000. All three of the maior
broadcasters in the world (HCJB/World Radio,
Broadcasting and Trans World Radio) are commi
cooperatively provide every man, woman and child on
opportunity to turn on their radio and hear the
Jesus Christ in a language they can understand so
become followers of Christ and responsible member
church. It's exciting to think that within the nex
years, through our accomplishment of this goal,
hasten the day of the Lord's return. It is also ex
know that the Lord's prayer regarding the unit

In connection with this, please be in prayer for new test
broadcasts starting soon to the continent of Africa. We will
be beaming in English, French and possible Portuguese.
John's proqram is scheduled to be one of those.broadcast.
Nathan is now firmly in 2nd grade and is beginning to express
a real interest in spiritual matters. Amy

that John corresponds with. This task has been made mi
easier through the generous gi-ft o-f a computor by one o-f (
supporting churches. We are thank-ful that John and Nat!'
were not seriously hurt in a recent accident with i
motorcycle. We do look -forward to purchasing a good ui
(and safer) automobile as soon as we receive about $1100
more in personal gifts. So far we have recei'ved ab(
$1400,00 for that purpose. (These contribut!ons <
non-tax-deductable since we desire to own the car instead
the mission owning it.) We also seek your prayers
guidance and wisdom as we start preparation for furlough,
will be looking for opportunities to report to all of v
plus seeking others who might wish to ..-ioin us for our sec!
term cf service. Please pray that the Lord'J^lead us to
inexpensive, furnished apartment or house to live in fi
June through December of 1986.
