Our Back to School Night will
allow you the opportunity to
experience a day in your childs
shoes and learn about your childs
day-to-day classroom routines and
schedule. This will be a very
informative event that you wont
want to miss! Below are a few
topics that will be discussed:
Common Core
Curriculum used in the
classroom
Homework
Positive behavior strategies
Grades
An engaging mini lesson for
you to learn
How to support your child at
home

Campus Supervision
in the
Morning
This school year we are creating our
School Site Council. The School Site
Council will include myself (Ms. Allen-
Principal), 2 Teacher Leaders, and 4
parents. The School Site Council
annually reviews and updates the Single
Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)
and meets a couple of times throughout
the school year to discuss various
topics. If you are a parent that is
interested in being a part of our School
Site Council and have flexibility to
meet throughout the school year, look
out for an interest form that will be
sent home this week. All candidates
interested will be listed on a ballot
sheet for parents to vote on the 4
parents they would like to have on the
School Site Council at H.B.C.P. Look out
for more information to be sent home
this week.

As a reminder, school doors
do not open until 7:15 a.m.
Teachers and staff are
responsible for the supervision
of scholars during school hours
and during field lessons. To
ensure the safety of our
scholars, please make sure to
accompany your child(ren) in
the morning before 7:15 a.m.
Thank you for your support in
helping our scholars stay safe!

Pacific Fundraiser!
Its that time of year again! H.B.C.P
has started its first fundraiser of the
school year! The start date was
September 8
th
and the order and
money turn in date is September
22
nd
! All raised money will go
towards purchasing items for our
school events (chair racks, tables
etc.) and helping to improve our
parking lot safety (signage, cones
etc.) If you have any questions
please see or contact Ms. Gonzalez!

one of our Parenthood
groups. We have a
Motherhood, Fatherhood,
and Grandparenthood group
here on campus. If you are
