Outcome : Achieved a highly reliable and efficient electronic ignition for automobiles.
Microcontroller was used to ignite spark at appropriate instants, increasing the mileage
of automobile. Designed a DC-DC fly back converter to transfer charge from the battery
to the capacitor.

helps in getting all the dynamic Configuration and Monitoring details from individual
Openflow enabled / Hybrid switches at the infrastructure level, controlled by
Floodlight Controller . This enables Field engineers at datacenters to debug problems at
much faster rate by just using tablet/smartphone rather than relying on age old CAT
cable technologies .
Contribution : Was responsible for developing C++ applications and modules in Floodlight Controller
( OpenFlow Controller ) .




Project Title : Bandwidth on Demand Application Using Deep Packet Inspection and SDN

Description : This particular application enables users to get bandwidth according to their needs for a
particular type of application in use . Increase/decrease in bandwidth is determined and
orchestrated automatically by the applications that have been designed leveraging DPI (
Deep Packet Inspection ) tool such as SNORT and Floodlight Controller ( Openflow
Controller ) .
Contribution : Responsible in developing modules in Floodlight Controller that is responsible in
sending Openflow packets to SNORT deep packet inspector. Developed C++ application
that would install flows in respective individual Openflow enabled/Hybrid switches
involving REST API calls . Also developed C++ application that acts as an interface
between SNORT and Controller responsible for getting alerts from SNORT and
maintaining User Level Database.
