Aluminum foil is admittably a conductor, and thus, might be able to
distort microwaves or other forms of electromagnetic radiation to some
extent.
The human brain does generate electic potentials by the generation of
ion gradients on the surface of nerve cells, and the opening up of
channels on the cell membranes of the nerve cells that allow ions and
electric potential to pass to the interior or exterior of the nerve
fiber's surface.
Wheather a nerve cell will fire or not fire, however, depends on the
level of potential or 'neurotransmitters' that are directly adjacent
to each particular nerve cell, however. What the nerve cell 'codes',
also, however, depends on the specific interconnectivity of each of
the particular nerve fibers. This can vary highly throughout a mesh
of billions of cells.
Widespread external electrical activity can, if of a great enough
scale, can over-ride the specific localized nerve potentials that
exist at each of the nerve fiber connections. When this happens,
however, you have something that is generally called 'electrocution',
and the effects are obvious on the nervous system and on the muscles.
If you are interested in the nervous system, you can do searches on
'acetylcholine', 'dopamine' 'nor-epinephrine', 'adrenaline',
'serotonin', 'GABA', 'glutamine', 'NO nerve cell', 'benzodiazepine',
'neurotransmitters', 'neuropeptides', 'receptors', nerve 'ion
transport', 'axon', 'dendrite', 'glial cell', 'neural network',
'ganglion', 'pyramidal tracts', 'columnar tracts', 'pons', 'medulla
oblongata', hypothalamus, pineal gland, pituatary gland, thalamus,
cerebellum, limbic system, amygdala, hippocampus, mid brain, occipital
lobe, parietal lobe, Broca's area, Wernekie's [sp.?] area, Temporal
lobe, Frontal lobe, ascending tracts, descending tracts, amyloid
plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, mad cow disease, f bodies, blood
brain barrier, and others.
'Mind Control' exists. However, it realistically exists in other
forms. If it were possible to do a electromagnetic scan of the brain
with enough precision to be able to trace the exact neural connections
in the human brain to understand their coding, in theory, thoughts
might be transferred in a direct reliable fashion that would produce
real results if the coding of each specific neural connection were
known. However, if that were known, it would then be feasible to
download a brain into a computer, and it would take a vast amount of
computing power to even store the meaning of the traced
interconnections.
Downloading human brains into computers, is a whole other matter. It
would require a microscopic tomography device that would be capable of
detecting the nerve connections well enough to detect and store on a
wide scale, to be able to distinguish between a coding neuron and a
glial cell, and preferebly be able to get a good inference as to
weather each connection was coding or anti-coding (partially
inferrable from the shape of the connection) and what
neurotransmitters are involved with each synapse. Also it would
require enough computer storage capability, and some parallel
processing to enable firing potential simulations across an entire
brain at specific time increments. If this would be done on a live
person, with the intention that the nervous system of the biological
person would remain effectively alive and functioning afterwards, the
scanning mechanisms involved also would need to be non-destructive to
living human brain tissue. Probably this will not be done until the
later part of the 21st century, if not the 22nd century at the
earliest, and if and when done, it is very likely that it would take
an obvious room-sized apparatus. At that state, it would not seem
somethimg easily done or covertly hidden.
It might be slightly possible to attach electrode probes directly to a
brain and initiate partially random thought sets or memories by
stimulation of different parts of the brain without a total neural
trace. However, getting realistic output would only occur by speech
or some other output by muscle stimulation. It wouldn't be that much
more effective than word association.
'Mind Control' effectively exists through the transfer of word
patterns or symbolic patterns or inputs, which have meaning to the
input of the brain being programmed. These word patterns or images
can directly correspond with ideas or phenomenon in reality, or they
may not. One should remember, however, that these brains have been
continuously programmed since birth with their own inputs from their
own senses. A short-term time period of programming may not
necessesarily always be effective in swaying minds in various
directions. It can also occur by a transfer of association by
programmed inputs to the nervous system of the person, patterns that
would correspond with programmed responses that are trying to be
conveyed. (Conditioned response.) This programming can sometimes
also be modulated to some extent through pharmacological variation in
differenr neurotransmitter levels, during input.
'Human Minds' and the various neural interconnectivities involved, are
to a great extent a product of the environment that has programmed
them. There are some genetic combinations that have produced
differing levels of dopamine and serotonin production, and differing
levels of output from the adrenal glands in times of excitement.
However, the specific phenomenon that can tend to produce these
mid-brain responses can vary highly with programming and various
associative inputs.
Often short-term specific physiological responses are not
necessesarily phenomenon that would sway a particular mind. For those
minds there are also ideas and representations of general phenomenon.
These can fall under the terms 'propoganda', 'campaign speeches',
'economic forecasts', 'models or simulations', 'theories', or the
like. Often if these 'models' have a greater likelihood of
corresponding with reality in the long term, it is more likely that
they might be adopted by the recipient in part or in full.
One notable reality, however, is that even specific momentary
patterned inputs may not necessesarily sway a mind in the long term.
It can even cause specific outputs meant to predictively correspond,
with expected outputs in comparison with inputs, that the recipient
tries to simulate during the times of programming. Under these
conditions, it is usually best to note the persistance of the
comparative phenomenon that is causing the output of the person to be
swayed only momentarily.
The fallacy that posesses you is the idea that specific thoughts or
ideas can easily be conveyed to you, by having direct contact with
specific types of vary course resolution electromagnetic radiation, of
the type of radio waves or microwaves in low amounts, rather than
light patterns falling on the retina, or sound patterns conveyed to
bits of paper and metal in 'audio speakers'.
Over-riding specific ion gradients at specific synapses of known
coding would require higher conveyed electric potentials and a much
finer resolution of output, not to mention a specific understanding of
the coding of each axo-dendritic connection.
Because you are posessed of this idea, I am going to tell you the
following. What I have just written you above, is a complete lie.
I have control over one of these electromagnetic devices, and can
program you at will. You are under my control, and you are my slave,
and you can do nothing else. Await further commands, at my
discretion.
