0,5 MW PV-SOLAR POWER PLANT FOR CAMEROON VILLAGES

Swea Europe BV has designed exclusive for Cameroon Renewable Energy Systems SA an
0,5 MW Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant to save a lot of fuel at the local diesel power
plants.

This PV-Solar power plants are saving during the day a lot of fuel at the Diesel Generator
power plants. This PV-Solar Power plants are avoiding also a lot of air pollution by
producing the Power by Solar iso. by the diesel generators.


0,5MW PV-Solar Power plant.
This 0,5 MW PV-Solar Power plant is build up out of 2000 Poly PV-Solar panels each 250Wp.
This PV-solar panels are connected to the grid with 16 pcs AURORA 30KW Grid connected
inverters. This inverters are putting back the Power into the grid.
The inverters are synchronizing the Power from the grid with the Power produced by the PV-
Solar panels.
The PV-Solar panels are mounted on metal Pile driven galvanized mounting frames.
3 Panels in portrait are fixed above each other.
Each 30KW AURORA Inverter can connect 6 strings of each 20 pcs is total 120 pc PV-Panels to
the grid. Totally in the 0,5MW system are 16 pcs inverters connected.


TRIO-20.0-TL, TRIO-27.6-TL
The latest in Power-Ones Aurora Trio range, this new-look three-phase inverter fills
a specific niche in the commercial solar market. This new three-phase inverter
benefits from the three-phase inverter technology perfected in the PVI-10.0 and
12.5, probably the worlds most commonly used three-phase inverter which has led
the way in best-in-class efficiency

Power connection to the grid.
All the 16 pcs 30KW AURORA inverters are connected with Power cables to the Central
Power station. The 750Amps Switchboard is connected to a 680KVA Up transformer to a Line
voltage of 12 or 15 KV or other voltage when necessary.

PILE DRIVEN METAL MOUNTING FRAMES
All the PV-panels are fixed on ground mounted metal frames.
The metal frames are all galvanized so they can be in the field without any maintenance for more
than 25 years.
3 PV-Panels are mounted on top in portrait format.


















Power production
The power production of this 0,5 MW PV-Solar farm per year can be calculated as follows.
The Radiation factor for Cameroon Tibati is average 5,65.
This figure means that average trough the year each installed 1 KW PV-Solar power can
produce 5,65 KWH per day.
This farm has installed, 16 inverters x each 120 PV-Panels each 250W is total 0,48MW.
The power production average per year is than 480KW x 5,65 x 365 days is 989.880 KWH.
The NET Power production sent back to the grid without lost into the equipment is total 989.880
x 85% is 841.398 KWH per year.
It is possible the multiply this system 2x 3x 4 0,5MW systems. Can be done when the power
production must be higher than 841.398 KWH per year.

The price for this calculated PV-Solar system is 480.000 Wp x 2,05 is 984.000 excl.
taxes.
