appliedsothatthestitchpatternrepeatsaremultiplesof8,9,and10(thenumbersinEZsbirthday).For
thehalfcircleversionoftheshawl,thesamestitchpatternsareusedwithmodificationssothattheycan
beknitbackandforth,purlingbackonwrongsiderows.Agarterstitchborderisincorporated.

TheinstructionsinthisdocumentwillproduceahalfcircleversionoftheHeartsshawl.Iused5mm
needlesandapproximately830yardsoffingeringweightyarn.Theshawlis80x40(blocked).Your
experiencemayvarydependingonyarnweight,needlesize,andtension.Useanyyarnweightand
