Objectives:

Information Technology (IT) is all-pervasive. It has become a major facilitator
in organizations, changing how and where we do business. IT by itself cannot
bring all the benefits to business, instead right IT practices and implementation
of right IT applications decide the success. Therefore the current business
manager is expected to know the strategic use of IT to compete successfully in
the global economy.

The aim of the course is to give a comprehensive introduction of Information
Technology and to help the participants understand the role of Information
Technology in providing organizations the strategic advantage by facilitating
problem solving, increased speed, quality and improved customer services.
