II. DESCRIPTIVE TITLE: Office Productivity

III. COURSE DESCRIPTION:


This course defines the competency required to perform basic typing operations using word application. It
includes creating and formatting documents, creating tables, printing labels and mail merge. It also
defines the competency required to operate presentation application and perform basic operations.

IV. CREDIT UNITS: 3 Units

V. COURSE PRE-REQUISITE: None

VI. COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
1. create documents using word processing application;
2. format documents according to user requirement;
3. transform page layout and appearance;
4. make and format tables;
5. apply graphics or images on a certain document;
6. make and format presentations using presentation software or application;
7. illustrate basic settings;
8. use slide effects or animation on a certain presentation; and
9. demonstrate how to print presentations and notes

VIII. COURSE REQUIREMENT:


The student should follow the following requirements in order to pass the subject:
1. Pass all written and laboratory exams, quizzes and exercises.
2. Submit midterm and final projects both written and laboratory on time.
3. Submit assignments required on time.
4. Complete 80% of the total attendance during the semester.
