ARTS & CRAFTS BAZAAR
The annual Arts and Crafts Bazaar will
be held on Saturday, November 15 from
9:00am to 3:00pm at Orchard View High
School, which is located at 16 North
Quarterline Rd. The fee for a space is
$30.00. Interested in participating as a
vendor,please contact the Senior
Program office at 760-1493.

BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP
Each month a book is chosen to be
read. Group discussion follows. Open

AARP DRIVER SAFETY
PROGRAM
This class is designed for drivers 50
years old and older. You will learn the
current rules of the road, learn defensive
driving techniques, learn to operate your
vehicle more safely in todays
increasingly challenging driving
environment, learn how to manage &
accommodate common age-related
changes in vision, hearing & reaction
time. You could possibly qualify for auto
insurance discount.

members

DRAWING CLASS
If you enjoy sketching, this class is for
you! Learning to draw is a surprisingly
simple accomplishment that anyone can
learn. The class will offer you the basic
principles of art by drawing still life,
florals and anatomy. Materials needed:
Spiral drawing pad, 6B pencil, kneaded

We continue to save labels from
Campbell products and UPC
symbols from Spartan products. We
are also saving pull tabs from pop
cans. You may turn them in at any
senior program function or at the
Community Education Center.
WOODCARVING CLUB
A piece of wood, a little time, and this
class can get you started making beautiful
wood sculptures. If you are already
working on a project, please bring it to the
first class. All levels of ability including
beginners welcome! Our more
experienced woodcarvers will help you
learn basic techniques.





YOGAGENTLE
Learn simple posture and stretches,
working with balance and breathing. All
postures are done on the floor using
mats. (Mats are provided or you can bring
your own.)

COMPUTERS FOR GOLDEN-
AGERS
Do you have a computer and wonder
what to do with it? Designed for seniors
(age 50+) you will become comfortable
using your PC and exploring the internet.
Class meets twice a week for 4 weeks.








OIL PAINTING
Discover the world of oil painting.
For the beginner, step-by-step
instruction in the use of brushes,
mixing colors, composition and more.
The advanced student can discover new
ways to enhance their painting with
unusual effects. Each class has a lecture
and demonstration with the remaining
time devoted to open painting. Supply list
