Guidelines for Teachers:

Planning of a lesson in the form of a lesson plan is essential for effective delivery of a lesson.
This helps in making teaching learning process organized , enjoyable and fruitful. Teachers
are suggested to follow these simple steps in CCE.
Step 1 Write the flow of chapter with learning outcomes.

Step 2 Select a suitable formative assessment tool for each step to be performed while
teaching learning is undergoing.

Step 3 Design the lesson Formative assessment plan in the following format
Unit process steps No. of Learning Assessment tool Remedy
periods outcomes
Step 1
Step 2

Step 4 Prepare Oral test questions , Class worksheets , Home assignments etc
Step 5 Plan a MATH ACTIVITY instruction sheet

Step 6 Make a Summary Formative assessment plan rubric.

e.g.
S.No. Assessment Task Duration (no.
of periods)
1 Oral test
2 Class worksheet 1
3 Home assignment 1
4 Crossword
5 Home assignment 2

This may help you in deciding how many class worksheets; home assignments
etc can be included in a lesson.

Step 7 Fill FA teacher record rubrics for maintaining result records
