Objectives of the Program
MBA Pharmaceutical Management with an
intake of 60 students is a two-year full-time
program. It is a flagship educational program
aiming at developing trained professionals
with requisite skills in planning and operating
management techniques; diagnosing and
solving management problems; and
acquiring consultancy skills, with a view to
preparing them to work with pharmaceutical
industries. As the program has set high
standards of management education in the
pharmaceutical management sector, it has
attained the status of a premier program in
the country. Our students go for training and
placement to a large number of
pharmaceutical organizations.
The broad objective of the program is to
build knowledge and skill to perform as
effective professionals in pharmaceutical
systems, both in the public and private sector.
The syllabus and course content are designed
to meet the needs of fresh graduates and
mid-career professionals.
The specific objectives of the program are :
To help understand concepts and
techniques of modern management and
their application in making the
managerial roles of the participants
efficient and effective.
To develop skills of analyzing,
diagnosing and solving operational
problems in the delivery of
pharmaceutical services.
To help learn the application of
qualitative and quantitative analytical
tools as applicable to pharmaceutical
industry.
To help understand and appreciate
methodologies of pharmaceutical
management training and develop skills
with focus on strategic responsibility for
training and human resources
development for pharmaceutical
industry.
To enlarge the outlook and vision of
participants about the larger
background and context of
pharmaceutical management in their
practical process.

Infrastructure & Facilities
The University campus Is spread over an
exquisitely landscaped area with a lush green
cover, characterized by stark and majestic
buildings in brick creating monumental
spaces with minimal dcor. The serene
ambiance has inspired students to strive for
excellence. The University is well equipped
with student friendly infrastructure. The
spacious campus located amidst greenery

Hostel Facility
The University has hostel facility in the
campus. The University provides spacious,
well furnished and air-cooled hostel facilities
with all modern amenities and conveniences
for the students.
Sports and Recreation Facilities
A healthy body is an abode for a healthy
mind. The University therefore conducts
various sports and other recreation activities
for students. These facilities include
gymnasium, tennis court, play grounds, and
basket ball court, etc. The student celebrates
various functions and cultural events at the
Institute.

Eligibility:
Recognized Bachelors Degree of
minimum 3 Years duration with at least
50% marks in aggregate (Pharmacy/
Science/ Biotechnology/ Management/
Medicine).
CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ XAT/
GPAT score.
Working professionals with relevant
work experience are encouraged to
apply.
Candidates appearing at the final year
examination of the Bachelors degree or
waiting for the results of their final year
degree examination in 2015 may also apply.
Such candidates, if selected, will be given
provisional admission. They will be required
to produce evidence of their graduation
within two months of the start of the session.
