Jims journey.

My name is Jim, I will tell you my story. It was 1942 I was flying of the beach of
Normandy in the atmosphere, far above the war. I floated down to see the
horrors that ensued. The fighting was intense. I flew out to sea to check on the
solders waiting to be deployed. By one solders cot was a small plant with a picture
of his wife, her name was Jenny. His name is Toby. He left his family behind to
serve and protect his country. I suddenly was absorbed into the small plant along
with several of my buddys about five. Suddenly about six burly water molecules
barge in. The plant takes the energy from the sun that it had stored in sugar
molecules to photosynthesize all of us down into a sugar molecule. The plant spit
out two oxygens. They went to float another day just to be breathed in by heavy
breathing solider fearing the inevitable. A red buzzer rings, a commanding officer
yells, Move out. Toby grabs the plant Im in and slips it into his medic bag. I and
Toby get to the landing craft, the seas are choppy as can be. Water splashes on
Toby and gets the bag wet. While we are waiting to the beach let me tell you how
my family run this boat. My great great great grandpa and his friends were
absorbed by dinosaurs and plants. He died with the animals and plants, then was
buried over millions of years and turned into a fossil fuel reserve. The United
States pumped the oil up and created it into gasoline running this engine. Toby
arrive at the beach, bullets flying ever wear. The solders are dying, he runs over to
one and bandages the bullet wound. It was just a flesh wound so he will be ok. He
pushes with his squad to a bunker. After two days of Toby fighting the beach was
taken, but the medic bag was left behind. Weeks go by of me not seeing anyone.
Suddenly a rabbit comes and nibbles on the plant. The bunny ate one of my
carbon atom friends. The rabbit gets shot by a farmer walking by. The farmer eats
the rabbit and absorbs the carbon. When the farmer dies the carbon will go back
to the ground. Also the farmer will use oxygen, then darning cellular respiration
he exhales carbon back into the atmosphere. The plant gets knocked over but it
lives for a week or so before it dies. I die to and get absorbed back into the
ground. Millions of years go by and I become part of an oil reserve. But the earth
is not inhabited by humans because a horrible plague by a super bacteria resistant
to all antibiotic. So Im just sitting here waiting.
