INSTUCTIONS TO CHA HOUSE AGENTS WHEN FRAMING CUSDECS

UNDER THE ASYCUDA WORLD.

1.DTI facility.
All the CHA House agents should obtain the Direct Trader Input (DTI) facility. Instructions are available at
the Customs Website. DTI Registration (Circled in red). Then click on DTI Registration Procedure.

2. VPN
When the DTI user names and the passwords are received the Customs House Agents should obtain the
user names and the passwords from the ICT division to gain access via the firewall. The form to obtain
the password for the VPN is available at the customs website.Download Applications & Forms VPN
Registration Form.
How to create the VPN connection is given in the document named
CONNECTION.

3.Hardware requirements:
Please view What is needed to obtain the DTI facility. This is available in the customs web site What
is New.
Software
Java Runtime Environment should be downloaded from the customs web site. Download Application &
Forms. There are two exe files. Jre-6u17-windows-i586.exe is for Windows 7 - 32 bit OS. Jre-6u17-
windows-X64.exe is for Windows 7 64 bit OS. Customs recommends 64 bit OS in order to receive the
maximum benefit of the ASYCUDA WORLD system.

When you click on the selected .exe file following will appear. Click on Install>.
When the installation is complete following will appear.

How to check whether the jre was properly installed.

Click on the command prompt and type CMD
run from the command prompt
java -version
If following output appears it means the .jre is properly installed.
java version "1.6.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_17-b04)
Java Hotspot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.3-b01, mixed mode)

Prepayment Accounts
As per the request of the trade the Customs has decided to extend the prepayment facility offered
under A++ to AWorld.
Trouble shooting
Sometimes you may notice that some exchange rates, Company/Dec names, Bank and country codes etc
appears to be different.
In such cases you are supposed to do the following.
Go to ComputerOS--Users--
Select the logged in User and double click on the same.

Delete the folder named .SOClassCache.
Then move on to your internet browser and simultaneously press Ctrl, Shift & Delete.

Then click on Clear Now
