Low Carbon school, “wat Klang” school opens


Wat Klang school is our fourth low
carbon school opening, a combined
effort from Centara Grand and
Chaba cabana, the date of the open-
ing was on 24th August.
This time it was real effort once gain,
both hotels had to make a long drive
down to the school which is in Lamai
area.
The opening was conducted by the
head of the school Arjan— khun Sura-
phong form the Tessban, along with
khun Paisan ( Mor wee) and khun Ka-
mum the Director of public health de-
partment.
Both General Managers , khun Martin
from Centara and khun Kamtorn from
Chaba cabana.
A big thank you goes to the whole
community who turned up to support
their opening, thank you

The three musketeers, in deep discus-
sion about the future of the re cycling
system, the aim is and will be to
gather our forces under THA and
Tessaban for the future of our children
on koh Samui.

Anyone for a coconut palm hat!

I love those coconut palm
hats, if they could recycle
them they could generate
a lot of revenue for their
school projects, small
baskets were wove form
the older generations in
the community.

Wonderful displays of how to recycle


The team at Baan Talingnam and
teachers at the school created a re-
cycling game for the kids and that
went down a treat with them all.
Getting them accustomed to sepa-
rating while playing a game goes
further.
