told him abt reversible laytime and EDP procedures)
3) Why is EDP carried out?
4) Wht all precautions will u carry out when u come to know that EDP procedures will be followed in the
port?( I told him abt giving letter of authorization to agent and giving him clear instructions as to wht all
to chk in the B/L before signing it)
5) He said, that ur agents have taken all that precautions, but still after some days, charterers have
claimed for some cargo issue. How will u protect ur owners interest( I told him that, when I come to
know abt EDP, Ill be issuing a leter of protest which will be saving my owners interest)
6) Under which all circumstances will u use Rule no. 2? (I gave him two simple examples.)
7) POR and preparations for the same. How will u make sure ur delays are minimized at the POR?
8) Wht is MAS? Who carries out this service in India( I told him all that I know abt MAS and told him I
didnt know who carries out this services in india but I can find out the same from ALRS vol 1. Im not so
