Advantages
All-out Attack Trade active defense for attack bonus.
Chokehold Suffocate an opponent you have successfully grabbed.
Eidetic Memory Total recall, +5 circumstance bonus to remember things.
Equipment 1 5 points of equipment per rank.
Fighting Style: Krav Maga Krav Maga developed about 40 years ago for use by the Isreali
Defense Forces (and later Isreali police and Mossad intelligence agents). It's a highly practical
style borrowing moves from many different fighting styles and focused entirely on quickly and
efficiently disabling an opponent. It lacks the "forms" of other fighting styles, since it's intende
solely for fighting, not for show. This fighting style can be used for other modern, constructed
styles taught to commandos and military personnel.

Great Endurance +5 on checks involving endurance.

Improved Defense +2 bonus to active defense when you take the defend action.
Improved Disarm No penalty for the disarm action.
Improved Grab Make grab attacks with one arm. Not vulnerable while grabbing.
Improved Hold -5 circumstance penalty to escape from your holds.
Improved Initiative +4 bonus to initiative checks per rank.
Improved Trip No penalty for the trip action.
Power Attack Trade attack bonus for effect bonus.

Background Information
Languages: Native Language
In what is know as the constellation Lyra, in the Nebulae recorded as Messier's 57th Object, there existed a planet with
a most ancient people. It had been called M'El-Ora and its inhabitants were an advanced civilization of scientists and
engineers, rulers of the first galactic empire. The M'El-Oran Confederacy (M'El-Ora B'El-Ade) conquered and colonzied
50 planets and some outlying planetoids and asteroids by the height of its existence. Their crowning achievement was
the perfection of the M'El-Oran genome, creating a race that was perfect in body and mind. They also mastered the
integration of machine and organic life with their prized nano-technology. Other subjugated races would also benefit
from these achievements, if only to further the goals of M'El-Ora B'El-Ade in bringing order, peace, and perfection to
the Universe.
Ekba'at de Saba'at was created to watch the stars, the pursuit of astronomy was encoded into his very DNA. He was
the best of his generation's astronomers and was quickly surpassing the skill of his predecessors. Ekba'at had become
aware of anomylous data in readings from the system's primary star, he shared his findings with his peers who
recommended further study. Shortly after, massive solar ejections lashed out through space and the M'El-Orans knew
they were doomed. Ekba'at contacted his family who were already evacuating and encouraged him to do the same. He
equipped himself with the gear required for space-travel and boarded his private ship, a modest craft built for shortdistance inter-planetary flight. As he made his way out of the planet's orbit and beyond the moons, Ekba'at saw the sun
go super nova and explode, engulfing billions of miles of space. The last thing he witnessed before being engulfed
himself was the destruction of his planet.
When Ekba'at awoke, he wondered if his consciousness had been trapped in a time-loop, as he realized he was still in
his ship- and with no apparent damage. As he realized all of the ship's systems (except for back-up life-support) were
completely down, the ship began to enter an alien planet's atmosphere. As he beheld the blue and green orb grow
larger and larger, Ekba'at braced for impact. A fireball streaking across the sky, the ship fortunately landed in a quiet,
empty desert.
With no major injuries, Ekba'at inspected the inside of the ship. Emerging, he found himself in a cold, desolate
landscape consisting primarily of silicon dioxide in quartz form. His ship was definitely out of comission but had no
severe damage. About to re-enter his ship to determine the cause of the mysterious systems failure, Ekba'at became
aware of sentient organic life-forms in the vicinity (through his nano-tech suit). Without considering he was actually a
long way from home, Ekba'at turned around and called out to the aliens hiding behind the rocks and dunes. After
another moment and they did not emerge, he proclaimed himself a member of the M'El-Ora B'El-Ade and that he
required assistance. He didn't see the helicopters approaching, but soon enough he heard the strange, black craft and
was suddenly surrounded on all sides by previously camoflauged soldiers with weapons pointed towards him. While he
put up a stunning fight, he began to fatigue quickly and was knocked-out.
His captors quickly confiscated his ship, armor, and other technology, but due to the integrated nature of Ekba'at's
nano-tech suit, they were not able to aquire it.... yet. They managed to de-activate most of its systems, however. While
his memories are considerably warped and ephemeral, Ekba'at recalls being in a holding cell, being interrogated, being
subject to physical examination, and being referred to as "Prometheus". He eventually awakens in a cell identical to his
last, though he can detect that he is mobile. After some time in this mobile prison, "Prometheus" feels his nano-suit
grow extremely warm and after seeing a bright flash is teleported out of the cell. His suit suddenly reactivated and
empowered, he scans the area to make sense of what happened. Prometheus realizes that he is in one of the alien's
communal dwellings, and a large one. He does not know what to make of this new planet so far, as the new landscape
he sees before him is one of chaos and fear....
See Prometheus in action in "The Ides of March Issue #1" due out Fall 2014!

Extra Effort

Hero Point Uses

Action Gain an additional standard action during your turn, which

can be exchanged for a move or free action, as usual.

Bonus Perform one check with a bonus (+2 circumstance bonus)

or improve an existing bonus to a major bonus (+5 circumstance
bonus). This bonus can also negate a penalty (-2 circumstance
penalty), allowying you to perform the check with no modifier, or
reduce a major penalty from -5 to a penalty of -2.
Power Increase one of your hero's power effects by +1 rank until
the start of the hero's next turn. Permanent effects cannot be
increased in this way.
Power Stunt Temporarily gain and use an Alternate Effect (see
Alternate Effect in the Powers chapter). The Alternate Effect lasts
until the end of the scene or until its duration expires, whichever
comes first. Permanent effects cannot be used for power stunts.
Resistance Gain an immediate additional resistance check
against an ongoing effect. If the extra effort incapacitates you,
you forfeit all resistance checks against the effect until you
recover. The fatigue conditions do not affect you until you are
free of the effect.
Retry Certain effects (see the Powers chapter) require extra
effort to retry after a particular degree of failure. The extra effort
merely permits another attempt to use the effect; it grants no
other benefits.
Speed Increase the hero's speed rank by +1 until the start of the
hero's next turn.
Strength Increase the hero's Strength rank by +1 until the start
of the hero's next turn.

Edit Scene You can 'edit' a scene to grant your hero an

advantage by adding or changing certain details. For example, a
hero is fighting a villain with plant-based powers in a scientific
lab. You deduce the villain may be weakened by defoliants, so
you ask the GM if there are any chemicals in the lab you can
throw together to create a defoliant. The Gamemaster requires a
hero point to add that detail and says the right chemicals are
close at hand. Now you just have to use them!
Heroic Feat You can spend a hero point to gain the benefits of
one rank of an advantage you don't already have until the end
of your next turn (see the Advantages chapter). You must be
capable of using the advantage and cannot gain the benefits of
fortune advantages, only other types. If the advantage has any
prerequisites, you must have them to gain the benefits of the
advantage as a heroic feat.
Improve Roll One hero point allows you to re-roll any die roll
you make and take the better of the two rolls. On a result of 1
through 10 on the second roll, add 10 to the result, an 11 or
higher remains as-is (so the re-roll is always a result of 11-20).
You must spend the hero point to improve a roll before the GM
announces the outcome of your initial roll. You cannot spend
hero points on die rolls made by the GM or other players without
the Luck Control effect (see the Powers chapter).
Inspiration You can spend a hero point to get sudden
inspiration in the form of a hint, clue, or bit of help from the GM.
It might be a way out of the villain's fiendish deathtrap, a vital
clue for solving a mystery, or an idea about the villain's
weakness. It's up to the GM to determine exactly how much help
the players get from inspiration and how it manifests, but since
hero points are a very limited resource, the help should be in
some way significant.
Instant Counter You can spend a hero point to attempt to
counter an effect used against you as a reaction. See
Countering Effects in the Powers chapter for details.
Recover You can spend a hero point to recover faster. A hero
point allows you to immediately remove a dazed, fatigued, or
stunned condition, without taking an action. Among other things,
this option allows you to use extra effort (previously) without
suffering any fatigue. Spending a hero point to recover also lets
you convert an exhausted condition into a fatigued condition.
