Sr. Engineer-Media Service Delivery
Working at corporate office Gurgaon for PAN India Transmission Media Deliveries.
Looking after Media Delivery of ILD/NLD & UASL POIs.
Media delivery for BTS in presently 4 Circles.
Co-ordination with corporate Network team & circle team for new plans keeping least

Sr. Engineer-MW Planning & Transmission Backend Support
Looking after complete transmission backend operation for MW (SDH+PDH),SDH Equipment
including ECI BG-20 & XDM-300,FIBCOM-6325, Huawei OSN Metro-100,OSN2500,OSN3500.
Network creation in NMS such as Node Integration, Ring Creation & Topology Creation in
NMS, etc.
Interacting with field engineers on solutions to troubleshoot and repair complex circuits,
hardware faults and PDH faults.
MW planning for GSM & WBB sites. Finalizing possibilities for all new links & co-ordination
with field teams for LOS survey.
Creation of Link Budget via Pathloss & implementation in co-ordination with BSS or vendor
teams.
Creation of weekly reports highlighting deviated HOPs from designed parameters.
IP planning for all MW Elements on NMS. The job includes IP allotment to concerned
element, Route addition in concerned L3 Switch at BSC end.
Hands on experience on ECI EMS BGF for BG20 Management & EMS XDM for ECI XDM300.
Complete planning of DCN & Solving DCN visibilities issues of SDH Optical equipment and
MW Hops.
Rectifying the Alarms in NMS to Optimize the Network Availability for 99.99%. Trail
creations in VC-12, VC-3,VC-4,VC4-4c.
Installation & commissioning of FIBCOM MUX 6325, 6335.
Hands on experience on FIBCOM EMS-Tellabs 6300 Extended Craft Terminal.
Hands on experience on FIBCOM NMS FIBCOM 6300 Network Manager.

DMR report circulation for Daily Count of Critical Alarms on MW & SDH Fiber Network.
Validation of Daily Outages from Transmission end which further includes there complete
RCA & Rectification Plan.

Roles & Responsibilities in Videocon HP Launch:-
New POI set up & Augmentation.
Liasoning with BSNL for new/augmentation, POI feasibility and other issues.
Handling the responsibility for Installation & commissioning of SDH MUX which includes
Fibcom, ECI,Huawei.
Coordination with central NOC/NMS for troubleshooting and generation of reports.
Responsible for POI Transmission A/T and Switch A/T.
Knowledge to Operate Acterna EDT 135 & WG PFA- 35.
Installation Of all Core Network Equipment including MGW, Transcoder, BSC, BTS, TX MUX in HP LSA
during project phase.
Installation and commissioning of Huawei BTS for 10% rollout.
Coordination with other operator for TX Media testing, provisioning and testing for POI
connectivity.
Alarm Log analysis for reducing downtime of all POIs.
Involved in Planning Planned outages & rectification of problems to avoid unplanned
outages.

Vodafone is worldwide renowned telecom operator with its presence in 23 circles of India.
Worked in HP LSA in transmission Department. Circle had extensive Fiber along with 723 MW
SDH/PDH Hops from Ceragon. Worked on ECI NMS/EMS for Trail creation & NE Management.

Engineer-Transmission Provisioning
Maintaining OFC media on NMS level under which alarm reporting, traffic rerouting and
coordinating with field engineers to maintain the uptime for network.
Secondary responsibility of looking after Microwave NMS viz. Ceramap v2.2m of Ceragon
family under that creating different MW HOPS on NMS, IP assignment and managing these
HOPS on NMS with the help of field engineers.
Also taking active part in future planning of networks, material management of both ECI
and Ceragon.
Trail Editing, Shifting links, Upgrading Bandwidth of the links. Node insertion and removal
from the network.
Responsible for the maintenance of transmission equipment, attending alarms & taking
routine backup of all transmissions equipment.
Implementation of External Clock in the Network through Huwaei equipment BITS.
Nokia BTS Ultra/Felxi Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
MW Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
Traffic trail creation for new sites & POI etc.
Round the clock support to field engineers during breakdown & other faults.
Online Support to Fiber team, BSS, Projects field engineers & Switch operation team.
Daily alarm report generation for SDH MW management & maintenance from Ceragon.
Maintaining database for sound and live network condition.
