It gives me great pleasure to formally ofer you the opportunity to
become a sponsor of the 2013 Central Student Awards.
This annual event is always inspirational, with its stories of students
of all ages who have not only succeed academically, often against the
odds, but also those who live a full life and complement their studies
often with community service or charitable activities.
This is a great opportunity for your organisation to be part of a
celebration of student success. The Central students honoured at the
event are among the most sought after in industry, and often go on to
receive State and national recognition.
I can assure you that students look forward to and greatly appreciate

The Central Student Awards celebrate outstanding
student achievement and innovation in vocational
education and training (VET).
Now in its seventh year, the Awards provide a great opportunity
for partners to align their organisation with Central Institute of
Technology to develop a strong relationship with our training
organisation. The awards showcase not only our students, but the
portfolios and industry sectors we represent and it provides our
winners with a fantastic opportunity to launch, or further develop
their careers.
By undertaking a partnership with the Awards you will be reaching
the following target audiences:
Over 30,000 Central students
Up to 1000 Central staf
Other industry professionals aligned with the training sector
Award highlights
Central Awards
The awards have attracted large audiences of up to 300 people
over the last seven years including the attendance of special
dignitaries such as the Minister for Training, City of Perth Lord
Mayor, Lisa Scafdi and Councillor Jim Adamos to name a few.
2012 saw a year of industry professionals sponsoring the
awards. With special thanks to City of Perth, Curtin University,
WAM, Meath Care, Team Digital and the Ofce of Nursing and
Midwifery (Dept of Health) who sponsored our Portfolio awards.
The event has been hosted by many of Perths famous television
personalities including Narelda Jacobs, Verity James and
Deborah Kennedy.
WA Training Awards
In 2012 two of Centrals students were crowned winners in the WA
Training Awards. We congratulate Nicola Howe (2012 WA Trainee
of the Year) and Nathan McGuire (2012 WA Aboriginal/Torres
Strait Islander student of the year) on their success.
Australian Training Awards
Nathan McGuire won National Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander
student of the year at the 2012 Australian Training Awards not
only representing Central but as a fnalist for WA.
Benefts to you
Sponsors have the opportunity to be formally acknowledged
during the award presentation ceremony where approximately
300 guests including students, staf and other industry
professionals assemble to acknowledge the achievements of
Centrals students.
You will get the opportunity to position your brand at a
prestigious event involving business, industry and high
achieving students.
Your company logo will be incorporated on the winning certifcate
and visual displays featured at the Award night.
