Be confident to stand strong in the face of adversity.

Know that the Divine has

got your back, and that a bigger breakthrough is in store for you beyond your
challenges. There may be forces that have an investment in keeping you from
receiving your best life, but when you decide to stand up or speak out, knowing
that your faith is bigger than your fear, the illusion of fear thats trying to hold
you down will diminish and eventually disappear.
You become stronger and wiser when you step out in faith. The lessons brought
about by all people and situations we come into contact with are our teachers
AND our exams take this chance to get an A+!

Youre not as stuck you might think.
A lot of us come out of school wanting to change the world but then we get into the middle of it
and find its harder than we thought. We can no longer see that shore in the distance. The land
behind us stops getting smaller and the land in front of us isnt getting any larger. We wonder if
our ship is moving at all. But did you know that with each passing six months, nearly every cell
in your body dies and another is formed in its place? The human body is constantly recreating
itself. You are not who you were last August. You are already changing more than you know.
Which means youre not as stuck as you may think you are!

"Take life easily,
lovingly, playfully, non-seriously.
Seriousness is a disease,
the greatest disease of the soul,
and playfulness the greatest health." - Osho

you did not even have the thought that you are calling "yours." Rather, it appeared to and within
your awareness, without your ever choosing it or asking it to show up! If that thought is not
fueled with your attention or interest, it will already have disappeared.

Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you,
knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better
than your current situation

The secret to change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the
new.- Sokrates. Switch to forward thinking and release the held visions of the past. Learning
from your past is helpful in building the new, but dont keep your focus there or you will
continue to repeat the same mistakes. Growth happens when we step out of our comfort zone in
faith, explore new horizons, and begin to create a life of your dreams.

Fear is a nasty negative emotion. It holds us in bondage and can rob us of our true potential and
happiness. It tells us we are not good enough and that we are weak. It whispers lies in our ear and
sometimes we believe them. The more we believe them, the farther away we travel from the life
of our dreams.
To overcome the negative we MUST realize we are stronger than we believe. We can do more
than we think. We are capable of so much more. Believing in ourselves is the first step. When we
let go of limiting beliefs, we open doors of opportunity that we never once thought possible, and
gain the courage and strength to enter those doors and do our best.

Fear is based on your thoughts, when you dismiss those thoughts, you dismiss fear. You are not your
thoughts. Dare to question the thoughts in your head, as they don't belong to you, they are not you!
When you dismiss the thoughts, the duality ends, as all then will be good. There is nothing to believe, as
a believe is based on thoughts. This is the one and only thing one needs to do to end duality and to be
enlighten, to be love, to be God/Spirit/Soul/.... One is not who he think he is. ;)

Kada misao dodje, koja je losa, zauzmi stav " I dont mind (ne marim ) ", jer svaka misao dodje i prodje,

The cave you fear entering holds the treasures you seek

1. Thoughts and words have power. They
can either hurt or heal. Choose wisely.
Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can
change our world.
- Buddha
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we
become.
- Buddha
Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them and be
influenced by them for good or ill.
- Buddha
You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.
- Buddha

All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain?
- Buddha
We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows
like a shadow that never leaves.- Buddha

2. There is an abundance for all. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be
shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

3. Let go of fear.
The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend
on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed.

4. The truth will always be revealed. Always believe your own truth.
Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
- Buddha
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless
it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
- Buddha
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply
because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found
written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your
teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many
generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason
and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

5. You, yourself, deserves your love and affection. Self love is the most deserving
love.
You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love
and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You, yourself,
as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

change happens when the pain of staying the same is worse than the pain of making the change.
if you want to experience a certain light nature, you should also be willing to experience the dark
component that reality will bring in.
Living from ignorance has its own advantages but one of the biggest disadvantage is that sooner or later
reality hits home, sometimes leaving you shattered out of your delusions. Conscious living can make you
see through a lot of deluded thinking, and rob you of fantasies, but it ensures that you are grounded in
reality and hence are not privy to rude shocks or imbalanced experiences.

remember that you are always called upon to be a co-creator with life and not just be a puppet who
has no sense of volition

As a being one of your growth paths is to be able to stand on your feet, to be self-sustained in terms of
being able to make your decisions, though your conscious choice, instead of living through influence.
The very saying that God helps those who help themselves has a direct pointer to the truth that your
life-stream can be way more effective towards helping you if you are willing to take some charge in your
life. There may be a phase during the process of finding inner freedom, where you will feel that you are
fully guided by life and its taking all the decisions for you, while you stay passive, but you will always
reach a point (when you are stable enough) where life will look towards you to take decisions for
yourself, on the choices you want to exercise, where you can no longer just allow yourself to be passive

If you feel crippled by the momentum of your mind, or emotions, you would have to take the decision of
consciously finding your space of stability by releasing this momentum a decision to invest some time
with yourself instead of simply being lost to the momentum of your current reality. To release the
momentum of past accumulation through the state of allowing is a commitment by itself and requires
you to make the decision to go through the process of allowing the release, accepting the dark and light
nature of the process (dark nature being the discomfort, bodily and mental, that one can feel during an
emotional release, and allowing the time it takes; while the light nature being the sense of inner
spaciousness/wholeness that starts developing with time).
During the phase of release its quite normal to feel a bit passive in life, and in one sense its needed to
be passive for a while to allow some balance to come in to your past movement/momentum of strain
and struggle. Its a conscious decision to let go of struggle, to let go of being pulled around by your
mind/emotional momentum, and find more connection with your space of being this phase is needed
for an inner balance. However, once you do sense inner balance coming in, you will feel a different
movement taking over which is a movement towards a return of focus, a movement towards taking up
the responsibility of conscious living
Even during the phase of release, though I use the term passive, I know its not a passive process, it
takes a real commitment to stay with the conscious allowing of the release of past momentum of
mind/emotion when I say passive I just mean that you may not be too motivated to be involved in
many external activities/involvements for a while as you are more involved with your inner work. To
do this inner work is not easy neither is it passive in the sense of being without conscious volition it
has its challenges and it does take up your energy while you are in the process. When you are done with
a good part of release, you are in stable position to venture on the path of conscious living, allowing the
challenges that it involves.

Conscious living calls upon developing your aspects of self-understanding, making choices towards
experiences that you desire, making choices towards expressions that you want to contribute (or work
on), making decisions and taking responsibility for them, and being a co-creator with life in that sense. In
this blog, there are some posts which deal purely with the phase of release (or letting go) and there are
some posts (like this one) which deal with the dynamics of conscious living from a place of stability that
comes from the phase of release. So, you may sense a conflict between pointers relating to the phase of
release (letting go) and pointers relating to conscious living, they seem like opposites, however when
you see the pointers in their entirety you realize that they point towards balanced living aligned with
reality.

Dark nature is not a negative nature, its a necessary element for the presence of charm, for the
presence of choice without contrast life will be extremely boring and static. Negativity does not arise
from the reality of life but from our delusions about its reality which causes us to move into imbalanced
way of thinking.

You can see people enjoying the experience of fear as a conscious choice, like when they consciously
choose to watch a horror movie, to go bungee jumping, to ride the longest roller coaster, to go sky
diving or taking up a new experience for the sake of its adventure and uncertainty. So fear as a feeling is
not a negative by itself, you can enjoy fear also, its just that we wouldnt like to experience fear under
force or under some sense of helplessness. Fear can be enjoyed as a conscious choice, its just an
experience. In fact when you learn to enjoy fear you will no longer suffer from its presence. I learnt to
embrace/enjoy fear when I realized that it was a required dimension in the mind and that it added a
certain flavor to the experience of living, for example if you remove the dimension of fear totally from
the mind you will also remove several aspects of wisdom.

Fear can hamper wisdom or it can aid wisdom, it totally depends of how much inner freedom you have
towards fear, if you feel forced by fear then you have no real inner freedom and hence no real choice
towards wisdom. I made a real shift, towards finding freedom from the influence of fear (I was dealing
with strong anxieties due to my life circumstances), when I stopped seeing fear from the rigid
perspective of wanting to get rid of it (and wanting some purely light natured state of living) and started
realizing the charm of fear; I realized that I did not have to get rid of fear, I could just enjoy/allow the
experience of it as it was this attitude is what is actually the foundation of the practice of allowing
and it dissolves the imbalanced momentum of any dimension in you

An activity can come from the place of force or from the place of choice. For example, lets say you want
to be a marathon runner, first of all this choice can come from a place of delusion in that you feel that
you can only term yourself successful/worthy when you finish a marathon (in which case the choice is
lack-based and feels like a force), or it can come from a place of wholeness where you feel the desire for
the experience of running a marathon purely for the sake of that experience or the adventure of it (in
which case the choice is free of struggle and doesnt feel like a force). When your choice comes from a
place of wholeness you are willing to enjoy the dark nature along with the light nature of a reality for
example, to run a marathon you would have to practice running several miles a day while stretching
your limits every time (which would be physically painful) to keep building endurance for more miles; its
logical that you cant increase your endurance if you dont stretch the limit by a small amount every
session, and stretching your limit will always feel painful, you understand this to be the dark nature of
this reality and are consciously accepting of it, hence you dont feel resentful about the training and
enjoy the pain of it knowing it to be your choice and knowing that it will allow your to
achieve/experience the light nature aspects that you desire (like building stamina and feeling stronger).
However, when this same choice comes from a place of force, where you either feel forced to run a
marathon due to external pressure or due to some lack-based belief that you hold about yourself, then
there will be a presence of resentment and a sense of being victimized, which is what leads to a sense of
struggle instead of a sense of enjoyment.

If you want to be free of the mind, you have to allow it completely thats the paradox. You
can never be free of something that you resist or try to control. When you let go of the mind
completely you realize that it has no power over you. The practice I followed, that helped me
become free of the magnetic pull of the mind, is a below.
Just sit in a comfortable position so that your entire body is supported in some way. For
example you can sit in a very comfortable couch, that supports your back and head
completely, so that you dont have to hold any posture.
Realize that you dont have to hold your body anymore because the couch is doing it for
you. So you can now just let go of the body as if it were dead.
Just be in simple place of a completely surrender, where you are not trying to hold or
control anything. You can feel that theres some energy in you which is trying to grab
hold of something, and is very fearful of letting go so completely. Notice this energy but
let it be, dont try to get rid of it.
Dont judge anything and dont try to solve, or sort out, anything. If fear arises, let it
arise, if panic arises, let it arise, if confusion arises, let it arise. Just imagine that you are a
dead body with no control over anything. It may take a few tries before you can truly be
in this absolute state of no control, an absolute letting go.
Dont try to be aware. In fact, quit trying to do anything at all and just let go. Notice
that awareness is not something that you have to do, because awareness is always here.
This is a big revelation for someone who has been trying to be aware or trying to stay
as a consciousness.
You may notice that the awareness is always in the background, and thoughts and
emotions are happening in this awareness. Even the thought I am not aware right now
is just a thought happening in awareness.
If you just stay this way for a while, you will start noticing how thoughts and emotions fleet past
in the space of awareness. This practice helps you gain stability in your power of awareness
which allows for a space of a wisdom to come in, in the absence of this space you just feel pulled
around by the minds momentum. As you practice this state of awareness, you will also notice
the intensity, and momentum, of the mind becoming slower with time, until it reaches a point
where the mind loses it grip on your being which allows for a resistance-free movement in your
physical life.
This simple practice of sitting (if you can even call it a practice), allows all the suppressed
energies to come into consciousness and thus be transmuted or released. Since you are not trying
to control anything, everything starts coming back into a harmonious natural balance. The
energies in you that were out of balance, or suppressed, will be released in this state of no
control. Its like a rubber band, it automatically comes back to its normal state if you stop
controlling, or holding, it.

You cannot attract a happy relationship from a place of feeling unhappy, needy, lackful or incomplete
within. However, the good news is that who you are is already joyful and is based in love and peace, this
is your natural vibration. The only reason you feel negative emotions in you are because you believe in
the negative patterns of your mind. Once you let go of the minds lack based, fear oriented, thinking,
you automatically start aligning with your true nature which based in joy. When you align with your true
nature you feel the fullness of who you are every moment, and thus you stop feeling incomplete.

When you let go of your negativity (by resting as a space of awareness), you automatically start sensing
the joy that you are. You realize that you dont need anything, or anyone, to feel complete and yet to
desire to have a relationship to enjoy yourself. Life is your playground, you are here for fun and play,
to enjoy yourself you are not here to fix something, you are not here to become complete, you are
not here to fulfill a lack you are simply here to express yourself and enjoy yourself. If your mind tells
you that life is not about joy, its simply because its in the wrong vision in a fear based vision.

To be fearless is not a state of being where fear stops arising in you; its a state of being where you are
no longer afraid of fear. A lot of people are so terrified of the feeling of fear that they live constantly in
fear of their mind. The whole pursuit of spirituality, in many cases, comes from the need to be free of
fear. A lot of people believe that once they are enlightened their human expression would be free of
fear altogether, in that fear will stop arising in their mind such a misplaced understanding is the reason
why a lot of people get so stuck through this journey. It takes some amount of self-awareness to realize
that its never possible for the mind to be free of fear, in that fear will always arise in the human mind
no matter how enlightened you are. You become free when you stop fearing the feeling of fear created
by fear based thoughts in the mind. Liberated living is not the absence of fear but the absence of fear
of fear.

Fear by itself is not a problem, the problem is the resistance that we have to the fear so much
so that we constantly try to escape life in a bid to somehow escape fear. A lot of people who
are stuck in addictions have a common mindset where they are trying to escape the fears in
their mind thats why they use drugs, alcohol, entertainment or even spiritual/mystical
practices to somehow escape the mind.
Freedom is never attained by trying to run away from something, thats just another form of
bondage. Freedom is attained when you are no longer in resistance to something even when it
arises in your experience. When you stop resisting fear, you would transcend fear altogether
that does not mean that your mind will stop producing fear, it just means you will no longer be
afraid of the feeling of fear.
Bring awareness to fear not with the purpose of getting rid of it, but with the purpose of getting to
know it as it is to really know fear as what it is. Open awareness is more a movement of curiosity or
observation than a movement of wanting to eradicate or kill something. The more you try to get rid of
fear the more you will stay in fear of it but the moment you bring an open awareness to it, without any
agenda to get rid of it, you will soon be able to see through it and thus transcend it (Allow yourself at
least a few months to really see a shift in your way of being once you start bringing awareness to the
feeling of fear in your physical space).
-Sen, Very nice article..!All your articles pretty much talks about the thoughts. I wanted to know, how
our mind reacts when you keep getting warnings/reminders from external physical reality regarding
some unpleasant exp & How different is it to keep mind calm in case of thoughts and unpleasant
reminders in external physical reality..
-Sat, when one is not rooted in an inner stability its easy to be influenced by the external reality. Inner
stability comes from awareness, the more aware your are the more you see through all the negative
patterns of reality and the less influenced you are by any of it. As you become aware, you go through a
phase where you become aware of the dark side of reality the fears, the hatred and the
meaninglessness but as your awareness continues growing you see beyond all of this and come to a
place of inner stability/wholeness. In this place, you are not living life in a gaurded manner, worrying
about the next thing that can upset you. The warnings for your external reality are basically a reflection
of your own inner fears that youve not come to terms with you need to bring awareness to all your
fears to go beyond them, whatever is your fear it keeps you a prisoner to it if you fear it. You need to
become consciously free of a fear, through bringing a deep awareness to it, so that it does not have a
hold on you.
SEN-I was first introduced to the insight of bringing awareness to the mind in the book the
power of now by Eckhart Tolle, till then I was living a highly disconnected life, and going
through a lot of suffering as a result. The very process of bringing a space of awareness allowed
for more stability in my being, which created several shifts in my reality where many
disconnected elements moved out. With time I was able to gain more stability in awareness and I
could sense several stark patterns of fears/resistances in the mind, a lot of negative momentum
which I was not even conscious of before it was like waking up from a daze of living a
disconnected life. For a while I was working on suppressing the fears or using techniques to
think positively, but soon I realize that all this was just too exhausting and there was sense that
there needs to be a better way of coming to harmony. Around this time I came across the
teachings of Adyashanti and few more teachers like Mooji, which pointed me towards the state
of open allowing or letting go, rather than fighting the mind or negativity. Initially it was really
challenging to just stay allowing of the intense negative movement I felt within, but in a few
months I could sense a stability coming into being, and the intensity of the negativity started
ebbing away in force. I would say in a span of 8-9 months I felt a deep stability in my being and
from there on it felt as if a different force had taken over, it was like I was previously being run
by the force of external conditioning or the ego, whereas now I felt I was in the flow of my own
life-stream there was no determination or personal will needed, it was like life just moving you
through inspiration. It has been that way since, with subtler resistances ebbing away each day.
This journey of alignment becomes much faster when one has an understanding of what it
entails, because then one does not get stuck up at any phase. When I went through this journey I
didnot really have much guidance other than some pointers I got from these teachers by listening
to them on youtube. Along this journey I came to several insights of my own, which helped me
understand this process in a much clearer way, and I basically share those insights in this blog.

The only way to be free of the overwhelming momentum of the negative thoughts in your mind,
is to start starving them by not giving them attention anymore. Remember that no thought is
self employed, and it needs your attention to sustain itself. If you stop giving attention to the
negative thoughts when they arise, they will start losing momentum automatically and stop
coming up with such a force. With time there will be huge spaces between thoughts and no
thought will have any power over your being.
Thoughts are meant to be creative forces, and they can only serve this purpose when they arise
from a place of love and abundance. The space of your being has the capacity to generate
creative thoughts, but its not possible for these thoughts to become active in you unless you
clear your mind of the cloud created by your conditioned thinking (which is always based in
fear).

True freedom is only possible when you transcend your mind. Any mind can be transcended,
no matter how noisy, fearful or negative its tendencies may be. A mind is limited, its a like
programmed machine, and it can only have a limited range of patterns in which it works. Once
you see through all its patterns it no longer feels fearful and it can no longer threaten you with
its voices. See that your mind is very limited and it keeps operating in a fixed pattern. There is
a story running in your mind, and this story is what the mind uses to intrepret reality. You have
to see through the story of the mind. Find out what is the story your mind is using, this story has
a core (just like a novel), once you see through the core of the story it dissolves completely.
It takes some level of consciousness before you can really reach the core of the story. Keep
raising your consciousness by staying aware of the mind and its patterns. Dont be afraid of the
mind, its only a machine, a radio station its nothing big. Just watch the mind the way you
would watch a movie or the way you listen to a radio station. Get to know all the patterns of your
mind. Who you are is essentially pure consciousness, you are not a story character ( a self
image) that your mind makes you out to be. This is the core illusion the mind creates in that it
makes you believe that you are a story character. You are not a limited person you are eternal,
pure consciousness, and the body is just a temporary form existing in your consciousness
presently. Realizing this true nature of yours is awakening or enlightenment.

Most people who get stuck with obsessive thoughts, or people who have an anxiety condition (where
their brain is constantly thinking anxious thoughts), fail to realize that this condition is a symptom and
not the problem itself. They keep trying to treat the symptom without acknowledging the real problem.
They look to try to solve their obsessive thoughts through logical thinking or through positive
affirmations or by trying to suppress/ignore the thoughts, and of course none of this seems to work,
because the thoughts are just a symptom, the actual problem is with the underlying imbalance of energy
(accumulation of negative energy) in the body and the high momentum of the brain.
