PROJECT PROPOSAL
1) Title: CABLE CAR CIRCUIT SAFETY
2) Project Time-Frame:

Phase 1: Circuit Framework Design
As a vital first step, a proper circuit framework must be designed one that will
help bolster the safety of the overall circuit of the cable car mechanism. This
circuit will most likely be a parallel connection.
Phase 2: Prototype Design
Next, a prototype exhibiting the project objectives must be designed. This
prototype shall contain within it the circuit framework that was agreed upon by
the group.
Phase 3: Final Model Construction

Finally, when both prototype and circuit framework designs have been
approved, the group shall construct the final model of the project. More details
of the materials are listed below (see #7).

3) Project Background:
Change is the only constant thing in this world, or so the famous saying goes. Every day,
countless innovations to our way of life are being made, most notably those in the industry of
technology and transport. In our haste to continually make bigger, better and faster modes of
transportation, we are leaving behind the old methods of transport one of these being the
cable car. In the many decades of its use, more and more safety precautions have been
proposed and applied to other modes of transport, but sadly, most, if not all of those have not
been affixed to cable cars. This project aims to renew the safety of cable cars circuit-wise.
Furthermore, improving the safety of cable cars can reduce maintenance time thus
lessening the cost of operating cable cars. A fail safe system can be useful for cable cars that are
set-upped in dangerous terrains like the Swiss Alps to keep passengers out of harm's way.
Refining how the cable system is controlled proves that we take on these problems for the sake
of innovation.

4) Project Objectives:
* To organize of circuits that run through the cable car system.
* To create a framework circuit that prevents possible circuit malfunctions in the cable
car system
* To discover new information and further develop some used knowledge about
electrical circuits

5) Project Methodology
The overall approach for the project is to be based in a created model circuit that could
represent the system of a cable car. There will be a diagram of cable car model. Then, electrical
circuits are to be constructed in a circuit board and also on the model along with the power
source plus a rechargeable battery that would represent the product that could store electrical
energy . Circuits are to be traced and analyzed by using both Ohms Law and Kirchhoffs Law.
Identifying sources of circuit malfunctions is a must and is to be done properly. From this
complicated set-up the researcher will attack the problem in its keenest way to meet the
objectives. He could research information, ask help from friends, consult experts, etc.

6) Deliverables:
Basic Circuit Design
- Visual Representation of how the circuit work and looks like.
- Rough draft of the circuit not the final design
Basic Prototype Design
- Design only, no tangible sample yet
- Same date as Basic Circuit Design
Final Circuit Design
- After the initial design was accepted
Prototype
- Finished Product

8) CONCLUSION
The stated project proposal comprises the construction and operation of a cable car system.
Cable car made for a good cause and tends to help people to have better and faster modes of
transportation. It extensively engaged in work to support the safety and mobility needs of people. In
terms of feasibility, an estimate of P160 for all the costs of the materials to be used is something very
great. With a definite and thorough objective, the method of the project seems to be a complicated but
its objectives are significantly relevant to the peoples concern.

9)SUMMARY:

Despite the fact that cable cars were modeled before as a mode of transportation, it is still used
today for entertainment and tourism. With that, a primitive model in a modern era, it is expected that it
should be somehow upgraded. Hence, this project is to make a cable car model that will be suited to
present time's technology, securing safety of the passengers and the stability of the model. The
framework of this project will be based on the available resources such as books and the internet. The
researchers themselves will accomplish the project with the support from people who has backgrounds
in circuits, with the financial aid of each family representative and most especially, with the help of God.
The project will be done either in school or at home, depending of each member's availability. The
project will be done for 8 weeks, with a minimal cost of 1600 pesos.
