DICTIONARY

STREET LIGHT
(ALUMBRADO PBLICO):
It is a light in or at the side of a road or public area
That is usually supported on a tall post.

PARKING GARAJE
(ESTACIONAMIENTO):
It is a building for parking cars.

BUS STOP
(PARADERO):
it is a place, usually with a pole with a sign, where
a bus stops to allow passengers to get on and off.

TRAFFIC JAM
(ABOTELLAMIENTO):
it is a situation of too many vehicles on a road so
that they can move only very slowly or not at all.

BICYCLE LANE
(LINEA DE BICICLETAS):
it is a part of the road or a special path for the
use of people riding bicycles

NEWSSTAND
(PUESTO DE REVISTA):
It is a stall or other place at which newspapers,
often magazines, and sometimes candy and other
items are sold.

TRAFFICLIGHT
(SEMAFORO):
It is a one of a set of colored lights placed at crossroads,
junctions, etc., to control the flow of traffic. A red light
indicates that traffic must stop and a green light that it may
go: usually an amber warning light is added between the red
and the green.

TAXI STAND
(SITIO DE TAXIS):
It is a place where taxis park while waiting to be hired.

SUBWAY STATION
(TERMINAL DE TREN)
It is a terminal where subways load and unload passengers

STOP SING
(SEAL DE ALTO):
it is a sign on
the road that tells drivers of vehicles to stop and not to
continue until all other vehicles have gone past.

PARKING SPACE
(ESTACIONAMIENTO)
A space in which to park a car or other vehicle.

BICYCLE STAND
(SITIO DE BICICLETAS)
A device to which bicycles may be securely attached.

BUS STATION
(TERMINAL DE AUTOBUS)
A terminal that serves bus passengers

BUS LANE
(LINEA DE AUTOBUS)
A traffic lane intended for buses only.

SUBWAY SYSTEM
(SERVICIO DEL METRO)
An electric railway operating below the s
urface of the ground (usually in a city); in
Paris the subway system is called the met
ro and in London it is called the tube
or the underground
