Associate Pastor Efrim
& Tracy, Lexy, Levi
Associate Pastor
FCC welcomes Efrim Johnson
and family as our new associate
pastor. Although the search
included many names outside of
FCC, the Lord clearly directed
that one of our own was to take
on this role. Just as Pastor Mark
and James before him, Pastor
Efrim was already a part of the
church family.
Efrim is a former marine
(honorably discharged after a
shoulder injury) and most
recently worked for the youth
ministry Five Star maintaining
a camp. We look forward to the
ways in which God will use this
young family to enrich the
ministries and outreach of
FCC.
Missionaries Visit
Although we have been their
USA home church for years,
this was Aarn & Candaces
first actual visit to FCC.
Activities were planned so that
all who desired could get to
know them better: trip to the
zoo / shooting skeet / a night
up in Michigan / worship @
FCC / and an Open House.
Sunday Worship 10:30am
Sunday Small Groups 9:30am
Wednesday Groups 6:30pm

Mark & Rebecca,
Rachel
Honoring the Lord
As a fairly young married couple,
Mark & Rebecca have already been
through a lot. The Lord blessed
them with a baby girl right about the
time they were able to move into
their first house. After several
months, however, a fire drove them
out and they have been living in
temporary quarters. They are
grateful for the Lords protection
and provision. In the photo above
we see them dedicating both
themselves and their daughter to
the Lord.
Vic Passes
FCC lost a friend and Jan lost her
husband as Vic Myers was called
home to his Lord. Vics passing
occurred suddenly, from our
perspective, here one minute and
gone the next. Jan is holding up
well in the aftermath of this
unplanned change in her life.
Vic joins a growing list of FCCers
who have died in the Lord in recent
years. Although some newer
churches may only have young
families, FCC is blessed to have
people comprising all of lifes
phases. In seeing
the deaths of our
older members we
are each reminded
of the temporary
nature of this life.
I encourage you to
say I love you often
/ to be generous / to
forgive / and be
ready to be called
home at any
moment.
