What we do with our hearts affects the whole Universe.....so how shall we live? This is the theme of our Womens Retreat in SMA, Mexico. Stephanie Fieger Klein is a private chef, food coach, avid yogi and enthusiastic eater. Since transforming her own health through a plant-based approach, she has seen her love for good food evolve into the ultimate form of self-care. She has learned from the best foodies at Union Square Cafe, shadowed personal chefs in Los Angeles and currently runs the dinner show in a private residence in NYC. Stephanie received her MFA from NYU, her holistic counselor certication through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Chef Steph will provide one major meal per day for all participants drawing from local and organic sources. She will also organize snacks and mini meals giving participants easy access to food as they desire. She will also teach the art of eating well through example, demos, conversation on nutrition, recipes and creating an eating style that supports self-care. What we do with our hearts affects the whole Universe...so how shall we move? Alex Yonkovig is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in March of 2012 on the eve of her 21st birthday and has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for 5 years. She is driven and inspired by the mind/body connection and has dedicated her intentions to cultivating that profound power. Alex will be leading retreat participants in daily restorative yoga and meditation, giving insight into how movement and release in the body can facilitate emotional and physical transformations. Art for a Better Planet is dedicated to helping people nd a greater sense of connection through the arts. Based on the belief that loss of connection to self, others, community, environment, and Spirit is a primary cause of strife individually and globally, Dana Endsley creates artwork and designs workshops/retreats that allow the viewer or participant an opportunity to explore this need to connect. The building block of Danas artwork and workshops is story. She has found through her years of work in the healing arts and leading workshops that telling our stories is one of the most healing things we can do. When we share our stories and hear the stories of others a deeper connection is formed and compassion results.
