Game Design Document Outline
(For Community Recruitment only)




How to use:
Dokumen ini adalah tuntunan langkah dalam dokumentasi perencanaan game. Tuang ide kalian
dalam GDD dan setiap section-nya adalah suatu bab tersendiri. Contoh: Section I adalah Bab I
tentang Game Overview.


1. Title Page
Game Name
[Perhaps also add a subtitle or high concept sentence.]

3. Section I - Game Overview
3.1. Game Concept
[Describe the background story and the theme of the game]

3.2. Genre
[Describe the genre of the game that you designed. You can pick one or combine
more than one genre. Exp: RPG, Action, Strategy, Shoot Em Up, FPS, Side
Scrolling, Puzzle etc.]

3.3. Target Audience
[Describe the person who will play your game. You can classify it based on age,
gender, study, and the game platform (PC, Mobile, console etc.]

3.4. Game Flow Summary
[How does the player move through the game. Both through framing interface
and the game itself. ]

3.5. Look and Feel
[Describe the visual style of the game, the impression, and how remarkable is it
(exh: pixelate, surrealism, cartoon, cultural)].

4. Section II - Gameplay and Mechanics

[You can describe about how the game progress, the mission/challenge
structure, objectives, and/or the play flow *More detail and more
understandable is better]
4.2. Mechanics What are the rules to the game, both implicit and explicit. This is the
model of the universe that the game works under. Think of it as a simulation of a world,
how do all the pieces interact? This actually can be a very large section.
4.2.1. Physics
How does the physical universe work?
4.2.2. Movement
[Describe how the player controls the game (character, vehicle, weapons,
enemies, etc.)]
4.2.3. Actions
[You can describe about switches and buttons, how to picking up an item,
carrying and dropping item, etc.]

5.1. Story and Narrative
5.1.1. Back story (Latar belakang cerita .red)
5.1.2. Plot Elements (Alur inti cerita .red)

5.2. Game World
[Describe the setting, general look and feel of world, and the physical
characteristics, the levels that use area and the connections to other areas. ]
5.3. Characters
[You can tell us about the back story, the physical look, or the special abilities of
the character]

6. Section IV Levels (describe how you differentiate the difficulties and the objective for each
level. At least 2 levels)

7. Section VI - Artificial Intelligence
[How does the computer interact and response? Such as how the opponent AI to
be
designed or how the enemy (villains and monsters), friendly character, or even the
support AI (collision detection and path finding) P.S: The opponent AI is the
active
opponent that plays against the game player and therefore requires strategic
decision making (example, Civilization or Chess, how is it to be designed?)]
