Moral Mazes in Management (3M) Video Assignment (team assignment, 20%)

3M Videos are focused and compelling video essays designed to help leaders appreciate,
understand and deal with moral issues that arise in modern organizations. In this
assignment, teams will identify an emerging ethical issue that leaders must be prepared to
address, study that issue in some depth so that they more fully appreciate its complexity,
and gain practical perspective on how leaders can deal effectively with these issues when
they arise. It is important that the foundations of the teams analysis be solid, anchored in
some combination of research evidence and insight from managerial experience.

Once the foundational work is completed, the challenge for each team is to communicate its
insights to viewers in a manner that is meaningful, memorable and motivating. The
medium of video has been chosen for this assignment. We encourage teams to design
presentations and select media that enables them to connect with viewers most effectively.
The finished product for each team should stand alone, requiring no formal introduction or
explanation.
