To whom it may concern:
Today I received the shipment of the item I ordered through Amazon on October 1, 2014 which was sold
by and I believe shipped by your corporation. Below is an Amazon screen shot with the order number.

Let me start by saying this may be the worst experience Ive ever had buying online, especially through
Amazon. I have been buying online for many, many years and currently make a lot of purchases through
Amazon. I have never before received a product that deviates so much from what is described in the
sales copy. Further, what I received is absolutely and completely useless to me and I believe would
probably be useless to any other person who ordered a GSM Gate Control and Intercom system.
The very first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that the antenna was not at all like that shown
in the pictures on Amazon. What I was expecting was the antenna shown in the photo above. What I
received was the antenna shown in the picture below.

There are two major reasons this antenna is useless to me:
1. I intend to mount this system on a wooden utility pole similar to a telephone pole only shorter.
There are no mounting provisions for this antenna other than a magnetic base which is useless on wood.
2. Even if item 1 wasnt a problem the fact the base appears to be defective, not having sufficient
exposed threads to attach the antenna itself, (see photos below) makes the use of this antenna
impossible.

My next observation was that the Reception Box as described in the instructions was not included in
the package I received. Here is the first paragraph on page |1 of your documentation under
Introduction and Features:

To be clear, what Im saying is my order did not come with a reception box (a necessary component of
the intercom system) as stated in your documentation.
However, the problems dont end there. I knew there was some internal wiring connections necessary
to use this equipment with my existing gate control system. I also thought perhaps the reception box
might have been shipped inside the main box so I removed the cover to see what things looked like
inside.
Before I go into the problems I found inside the box I want to finish up with page |1 issues. The fifth
paragraph on the page says

Mine didnt come with a Visual Diagnostic Screen Plug-in (this is the second missing item).
On the top of page |2 Installation of Components. The first set of instructions are for the
Speaker/Microphone box which I assume is the same missing item previously described as a
reception box. Not having this item I cannot determine the accuracy or adequacy of these
instructions. Im going to skip the balance of page |2 and all of page |3 for reasons which should
become obvious by the end of this document. Continuing at the top of page |4 Power Connection &
Sim Card the next issue I ran into is the Low voltage power connection Your documentation says

Moving to page |5 Powering Up / Verification of System Ready:
This page starts with the following

At this point I am assuming the Digital Diagnostics Board is the same as the Visual Diagnostic Screen
Plug-in discussed in paragraph 5 of page |1. This item, as I previously stated, was NOT received with
my order. Even if it had been, and had the antenna been operable, and the power supply was present I
believe I still would not have been able to get my gate control/intercom to function properly.
Your documentation includes the picture shown on
the right (minus the red line which I added). The
12V DC (not OC) 500 mA transformer shown within
the red line was not provided with my order (the
third missing part).

When I initially opened the Intercom Control Box I saw what is shown in the pictures below and on the
following pages:

1. Red and Black wire pair which disappears under the PC board and is not discussed in your
documentation.
2. Two-conductor wire which goes to the DC power connector but terminates in an open circuit at
marker.
3. Fuse block and connectors that are not described in the documentation provided.
4. Additional two-conductor wire the come from under the PC board and also terminates in an open
circuit.

Close up picture of red and black wires and fuse block neither of which have any known purpose based
on the documentation provided with the shipment.

Clo seClose-up of the two, two-conductor wire runs that terminate in an open circuit with no explanation.
Based on the number and severity of the discrepancies I encountered I believe some explanation of why
I was shipped a defective and partial system, with an Intercom Control Box that looks like someones
science project, is in order. Between the documentation problems (spelling and grammatical errors,
missing information, inconsistent terminology and so on), the missing items (Speaker/Microphone box,
power supply and Digital Diagnostics Board) and the substituted (and inoperable) antenna, I find myself
questioning your ability to deliver a satisfactory product at all.
Also if the power supply I am missing has a right angle connector, like the connector on the end of the
open circuit wire I received, it will be unusable also as it wont pass through the water tight wire
connectors.
At this point, after waiting 9 days to receive my order only to find it was totally useless, I am not sure
what is the best course of action. I need to return what I received for the reasons documented in the
foregoing pages. Inasmuch as this was clearly a matter of an incomplete and defective product; I expect
you will either issue a call tag for the return of the box or commit to reimbursing me for return shipment
to your facility. A call tag or prepaid return label would work best based on my geographical location
20+ miles from FedEx.
The next issue is a replacement system. I cant afford to wait another 9+ days to get a replacement
system. My gate is located approximately mile from my residence and my current gate controller
(Linear RE-1) and/or the telephone line is currently malfunctioning so that callers at my gate cannot
reach me. This has gone on for more than two weeks and I need to get it resolved asap. Two more
weeks doesnt fly as I am experiencing delivery problems because carriers cant reach me so I can open
the gate in order to accept deliveries.
I hope to hear back from you on Friday 10-10-14 with your proposed solution to the Estate Swing GSM
Intercom and Access Control System problems discussed herein. If need be I can be reached by phone
at XXX-XXX-XXXX. I am in the PDT time zone 3 hours behind EDT.
Thank you,
Tom Prentice
