Siltech 100HV Warranty
Silchem Marketing Inc., dba The Silchem Group and its affiliate(s) provide the following warranty statements
related specifically to the use and application of Siltech 100HV, a single component RTV silicone rubber
coating:
1. All material sold hereunder shall conform to the description and specifications for Siltech 100HV
set forth in commercially available current technical data sheet(s) and shall be of standard
quality.
2. All work performed will represent The Silchem Groups and its affiliates best efforts and will be in
accordance with professional standards and quality and will be warranted for a period of not
more than ten (10) years after the date of shipment of materials to the Customer and/or
completion performed by The Silchem Group. In the event the Customer chooses to install or
have someone else install the product, they must follow The Silchem Groups current
recommendations for applying the coating material to insulators and must be familiar with
accepted industry standards for installing such coatings. Installation by unqualified installers
may void the warranties provided.
3. In the event of any claimed nonconformity or defect, the Customer must provide prompt written
notice of such nonconformity or defect , no later than thirty (30) days from the date such
nonconformity or defect is first discovered.
4. Excludes all other warranties, express or implied, including that of merchantability or fitness for
any purpose, whether or not Silchem Marketing Inc. is aware of the customers intended usage
of the material.
5. It is expressly understood and agreed that any technical advice furnished with respect to the use
or application of Siltech 100HV is given without charge, and Silchem Marketing Inc. and its
affiliates assume no obligation or liability for the advice given or results obtained.
6. The Customer specifically acknowledges that it alone has determined that the product purchased
hereunder will suitably meet the requirements of its intended use. Use of the product for
something other than insulators may void the warranties provided.
7. The sole and exclusive warranties given here with respect to the goods sold and work performed
hereunder are that: (I) it shall title to the Customer goods free and clear from any lien or
encumbrance and that such goods shall conform to the description and specifications set forth in
commercially available technical data sheet(s); and (II) it shall perform all work in accordance to
professional standards.
8. In the event of a breach of any such warranties, the Customers only remedy and Silchem
Marketing Incs., and its affiliates only obligation shall be replacement of nonconforming goods
and/or repair of deficiencies in work performed provided, however, damages in no event shall
exceed the cost incurred by Silchem Marketing Inc. or its affiliates associated with the
nonconforming goods and/or defective work.
9. Silchem Marketing Inc and its affiliates shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or
other damages except as set forth herein.
