Information in this document applies to any platform. GOAL This Document guides you how to change Fusion Application logo and add your custom one. SOLUTION The Steps apply for Release 11.1.7 and afterwards. Video - How to Change Oracle Fusion Application Logo? (03:05) Changing the Logo for Fusion Apps Classical Interface: 1. Prepare the custom Logo The dimensions of the logo are important and you should the appropriate dimentions as detailed in this document.
2. Host the Logo to External Webserver and get the published URL. You may host your custom logo to your UCM Server as per steps in Note 1605094.1
3. Login into the home page as hcm.user
4. In the home page go to 'Administration' menu (top right corner), and click on 'Customize Global Page template...' sub menu.
User should have "Administration Link View Duty" duty role to see and access Administration drop down menu
5. Click on the existing logo (here it is 'ORACLE'), this will enable the buttons.
6. Now click on the 'Edit' button. A new window should open with the title 'Component Properties: spacer'. You can change the "Short Desc" text here if you want to display some text when the mouse hovers over the logo.
7. Go to the 'Style' tab, and in the 'Background Image' field, enter the url to access the logo ( server where the logo is located). The 'Other CSS' field may be used as shown to set the width and height of the logo's image, depending upon the size of the image. The value to be used is "background-size:119px 25px;". Note: The dimensions of the logo are important and should be 119px X 25px(width by height) so as to replace the Oracle logo. If it is not of this size already, it can be set here.
8. Click on the 'OK' (or 'Apply') button to save the changes and close the window.
9. Return back to the home page to see the new logo.
Changing the Logo for Simplified Interface: 1. Login to Fusion Simplified Interface
2. Once logged in, click the "Settings" icon
3. Type in your logo url in the "Logo URL" field and click Apply. Use the "Watermark URL" field to change the watermark image in the background of the home page.
Note: Optimal sizes for Logo: 400px x 100px and for Watermark image: 1024px x 768px
