Seminars are an exercise in the self-directed teaching-learning method. Seminar
topics are studied, presented & discussed by the students. The lecturer acts only as a
fecilitator to keep the discussion on track & clarify any doubts.
Each seminar topic should be distributed & presented by 6 students, so that each
student has an opportunity to present, at least, one seminar. The marks allotted for
seminar are recorded in the students Log Book & contribute towards continuous
assessment.
Every student must study the complete topic. Thereafter, he has to make a small
presentation (Max 15 minutes, I,e, 7-8 slides) related to the segment of the topic
allotted to the student.

Every student must study the complete topic. Thereafter, he has to make a small
presentation (Max 10-15 minutes, I,e, 7-8 slides) related to the segment of the topic
allotted to the student. Tutorial slides should be presented in question/answer
format e.g. one slide could ask What are the risk factors?, let your colleagues
answer that question, and then display the correct answers in the next slide.
