Protects lumber against sapstain and mold

Maintains natural color and bright

appearance of hardwood
Stable on the surface of treated wood
Busan 1009 is used to protect hardwood lumber, logs,
poles, posts, and landscape timbers from infection by
mold and sapstain fungi.
For protection of hardwoods (red oak, white oak, yel-
low poplar, etc.) during air drying and transit, the treating
solution should contain a concentration of 0.5 to 2.0%
Busan 1009, depending on specific mill conditions.
For best results, wood should be thoroughly treated
immediately after cutting. When there is a delay
between harvesting and further processing, logs
should be treated or stored under a water spray.
Since Busan 1009 disperses easily in water and
forms a stable emulsion, it can be applied in green-
chain dip tanks, in bulk tanks, and through enclosed
high-pressure, low-volume spray systems.
