During the course, students learn methods, applications, and models of economics, financing and analysis of
international financial markets and related topics. The program has a strong interdisciplinary and allows the
graduates to analyze issues related to national or international competition and financial markets both from an
economic as well as from a legal and institutional point of view. The mediated and independently applied by the
students research methodology involves game theory experiments, behavioral economic analysis and empirical
market analysis. Overall economic and social issues are firmly anchored in the legal and economical
courses. Thus, students are confronted with conflicts between gewinnmaximierendem behavior and overall
economic potential negative impacts, such as in the industrial and economic competition as well as competition
law subjects. The analysis of the macroeconomic consequences of entrepreneurial activity on commodity
markets as well as on financial markets sensitize the students about the need for ethical and values-based
action. Since this is a purely English course, students also purchase in the course of all courses fluent English
including the relevant Fachtermini.Der master program builds a consecutive program on the basics of economics
(bachelor's) degree and serves to broaden and deepen the knowledge with a specialization in Finance and
Economics.Finance and Economics.

STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM
The Masters program comprises three semesters. The first two semesters provide students with methods,
applications, and models of economics, financing and analysis of international financial markets .In the second
semester, students also have the opportunity of individual specialization through electives. The third semester is
dedicated to the making of the thesis, which can also be worked out in cooperation with a company. In
preparation for this a theme seminar on "Competition Policy" takes place.

With the focus of the study on methods, applications, and models of economics, financing and analysis of
international financial markets, students are especially prepared for activities in the following areas:
Financial and business development departments
regulatory departments
Management consulting
Expert committees
investment and commercial banks
National and international public institutions
through the provision of in-depth knowledge and methods of training the ability to transfer acquired technical and
methodological knowledge on adjacent areas, the student is open to a wide future field of activity even beyond

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Enrollment application for license-free bachelor degree programs
After receiving the application, you will quickly receive an admission notice, if you meet the admission
requirements.This decision can be found in all the other information that will be important for enrollment. Only

Applying for a limited admission bachelor's degree
Applications for bachelor's degree programs are available for the winter semester 2014/15 from the beginning of
May.
You can apply until 15 July 2014 up to three courses with restricted admission. Go for a limited admission course

following bases:

to study at a German university will not count towards the qualifying period.
The remaining places are allocated according to the level of qualification and taking into account a previously
completed relevant professional training. For a relevant vocational training with a bonus of 0.2 shall be paid on
the average grade of the higher education entrance qualification.
After completion of the selection process you will receive a letter of acceptance (or if you did not get a place, a
notice of rejection). After received your admission letter, you must appear on the date stated in the notice
personally to enrolled (matriculated) to be. was only through the enrollment, you will receive your study
place .

After successful application via our applicants' portal you will receive an application number, please use the in
further communication with the university.
In the application portal, please download the following documents as scan high:
Your Bachelor's Degree
if your Bachelor's degree certificate is not yet available, your transcript with an indication on the obtained CP
(Credit Points) so far
the indication of the average mark
a description of the contents of your Bachelor's program or module manual
the proof of your English language skills. Your English skills you can prove, by a certificate in accordance with
the Common European Framework (CEF):


o For the Master Bionics / Biomimetics, Mechanical Engineering as well as for the Master Usability
Engineering the C1 level according to CEF must be provided as proof
o For the Master Economics and Finance, International Management and Psychology, Digital Media and

After reviewing your application, you will receive a letter of acceptance (or if you did not get a place, a notice of
rejection).After received your admission letter, you must appear on the date stated in the notice personally to
enrolled (matriculated) to be. Only through the enrollment, you will receive your study place.

Should you choose to enter in a higher semester interested in bachelor's or master's degree programs, please

application. Getting into a higher semester means that you have already completed at a university technically
