THE LIMITS OF MAGIC IN HARRY POTTER
Before publishing the first Harry Potter novel, J.K. Rowling spent five years establishing the limitations

THE SILK ROUTE

Early photography

In the early days of photography, a stand or some other firm support for the camera was essential. This
was because photographic materials were (1) insensitive to light that a typical exposure lasted several
