Phthorimaea operculella is one of the most important pests of potato tuber,
because the larvae attacks potato plant on field and potato tuber in storage
(Suriatmaja, 1988 in Winarto, Tarigan and Rusli, 199!" The most interesting
method of controling pests in storage is b# using bioactive plant materials $hich
have an adventage, it is biodegradable material (Sjam, 199!" Lantana camara is a
potential biocide to control P. operculella in potato%s storage" &bjective of this
research is to stud# the repellenc#%s abilit# of L. camara leaf po$der to
attendance of adult, female ovoposition and development of P. operculella in
different dose rates"

,ased on research results, it sho$ed that repellenc# of L. camara leaf po$der
to adults attendance $as not significant" While the repellenc# of L. camara leaf
po$der to female adults oviposition of P. operculella $as significant" The
correlation among females attendance $ith number of eggs $as not significant"
