Symptom

Reproducing the Issue
1821953 - Running SBP script during Oracle database upgrade to 11g
Version 4 Validity: 09.06.2014 - active Language English (Master)
1. Install target ORACLE_HOME (11g Software)

2. StartSBPinstallationwithMopatchtool(UNIX)oropatch(Windows)

3. Runcatsbp.sql(UNIX)orcatwinbundle.sql(Windows)

4. Upgrade database to 11g with DBUA or dbua.sap.sh


Cause
ContradictionbetweenOracledatabaseupgradeguideandREADMEfileofSBP.


Resolution
1. Install target ORACLE_HOME (11g Software)

2. Start SBP installation
- with Mopatch tool in UNIX: $IHRDBMS/MOPatch/mopatch.sh -v -s SAP_112xxxxxxxxxxxx.zip
- with Opatch tool in Windows: <DRIVE:>\<Patch direcory>\opatch apply

3. Run catsbp.sql (UNIX) or catwinbundle.sql (Windows)

4. Upgrade database to 11g with DBUA or dbua.sap.sh

5. Run catsbp.sql (UNIX) or catwinbundle.sql (Windows)
