Brandon Votes: 2014 General Municipal Election Poll Locations

Brandon, MB The Office of Brandons Senior Elections Official wishes to inform the public that voter
information cards will NOT be issued to the electorate prior to the Wednesday, Oct.22
nd
general municipal
election for mayor, city councillor or school trustee. This is not the practice during Brandon general
municipal elections.

Rather, the election process has been set up to allow an eligible voter the choice to cast their ballot at
ANY ONE of the polling stations located within their ward. Full colour maps of ward boundaries can be
found on the front page of www.brandonvotes.ca or you can enquire by calling 204-729-2210.

Regular polling stations, by ward, are listed below:
*NOTE: Councillor acclamations have occurred in Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 10; HOWEVER, eligible voters in
those wards may still cast their ballot for mayor and school trustee.*

Signage at all polling locations will direct voters to the appropriate area which has been set up for voting.
Electors are reminded they must bring proper identification with them to the polling station at which they
will be voting. Acceptable identification includes an official, government-issued document that contains
the voters name, address and photograph; OR at least two documents that provide evidence satisfactory
to the election official.

For those who cannot vote on Election Day, there are still two more opportunities to vote in advance:
