1. Michael has the flu. He knows he has a fever but isnt quite sure how high it is. He
figures his body temperature is about 100F. When he goes to the doctor a few days later,
his fever is measured at 104 F. What is the percent error of Michaels estimate?












2. Shanes dog is about to have puppies. Her dog has gotten quite big, and she guesses
there are 6 puppies in the litter. When the dog gives birth, there are only 4 puppies. What
was the percent error of her guess?
