DOX Access Controller

DOX Access Controller is multi channel, multi application, intelligent data collection and access control
network device. It provides specific point-of-activity with host communication and drives various peripheral
devices, such as card readers, touch screen consoles, door locks, biometric readers, and other activators and
sensors. Onboard data storage and processing capabilities are ensuring both online and autonomous offline
performance, not only for access control, but also for other automatic ID transactions, such as time
recording, cashless payment, jobcosting, vending and similar.
DOX Controller is a principal building block of IP based computerized access control networks of various
complexities, from few doors on a single location up to hundreds of doors on multiple locations.

READER TECHNOLOGIES
DOX platform supports wide variety of readers and card technologies, from legacy magstripe to latest smart
RFID such as Legic Advant and HID iClass. Several biometric readers are also supported, from leading
technology leaders Bioscrypt and Panasonic. Various template management models are supported including
template-on-card and template-on-board.

APPLICATIONS
Access Control DOX Controller has capacity for managing up to four independent access points (passages,
doors or entrances). Biometric technology can be applied for high security requirements, including
fingerprint and 3D face recognition from Bioscrypt and iris recognition from Panasonic.

Time & Attendance Combined with DOX Console, a separate and specialized touch
screen module, DOX Console provides elegant and versatile time recording solution. Up to
four DOX Consoles can be driven by a single DOX controller allowing any combination of
access control and time recording. Biometric readers can be used to eliminate the problem
of "buddy punching" or simply provide the convenience of a pure cardless system.
