1. Yoga

Etymologically, Yoga means union. This union is accomplished by
stopping the fivefold fluctuation of mind matter, called vrittis [these are
perception, audio - visual drift / distraction, sleep and memory]. In a
Tantrik parlance, the individual soul is Shakti whereas the cosmic soul is
Shiva their spiritual marriage is YOGA. The unison ''uninterrupted'' Is
yoga since Shakti is eternally united with Shiva their separation and
deviation is only virtual and transitory.

Ha is Shiva Sa is Shakti their union is super consciousness- the fruit of
yoga, on the other hand their separation is death. When the outgoing
breath Ha and incoming breath Sah unite, nada or the sound of one
hand is heard and one attains completion.

When Ha separates from Sa , one dies or leads a moribund existence.
Hatha yoga is defined in terms of unison of Shakti and Shiva the two
presidents of microcosmic and macrocosmic manifestation, respectively.

2. Tantras

.Are mystic canon containing metaphysical secrets of the union of
Shiva and Shakti .There are 64 arcane books of Tantras.

3. Agama's

Are auxiliary compilations of mystic exposition of Tantric canons.
Besides the discussion of many metaphysical secrets they also
propound the discursive and philosophic core of mysticism.
