2.4.

2 HEAT PUMP
A. Type: Air to water heat pump shall be a complete package, factory
assembled and ready to be connected to service wiring and hot water
piping.
The heat pump shall have total capacity and other requirement as shown
in the chedule of Technical !equirements.

condenser for full refrigerant + potable water separation
,vaporators will have silicon+ glass nano coating for spray protection and

-triple #. tube pattern to allow low refrigerant charge and high efficient
operation.
/nits shall be designed for outdoor installation and usage, and shall be
,T0 or /0 tested to withstand /0 rain test standards.
All e*terior and other painted surfaces shall be constructed of galvani'ed
steel finished with both sides having powder paint coated surfaces. This
corrosion protection system shall meet the stringent ($$$1hour salt spray
test per AT2 3((#.
!oof shall be constructed of single piece of steel as described above
4e*cept on largest of unit si'es in which case shall be a ma*imum of two
pieces 5oined by a standing seam construction6. All roof edges shall
overlap sides of unit and have 478 lip e*tending away from unit sides so
that rainwater drippage shall not fall on top of access doors.
Access to filters, indoor blower, electrical controls, compressor
compartment, and damper section shall be provided by double wall
access doors with stainless steel hinges, and lift and turn compression
latches with non1corrosive handles.
The compressor and electrical control compartment shall be isolated from
the system air streams.
3ottom base pan of entire unit shall have no penetrations by bolts or
screws. All base pan edges and any openings shall contain (. upturns at
all edges to prevent water from dripping through base pan.
tandard cabinet panel insulation must meet 9:;A <$A requirements, air
erosion and mold growth limits of /01(=(, stringent fungal resistance test
per AT21&($#( and AT2 >2(, and shall meet 'ero level bacteria
growth per AT2 >22. /nit insulation must meet these stringent
requirements or unit4s6 will not be accepted.
,ntire unit base shall be insulated on the underneath side to provide
condensation protection, and noise attenuation.
3. &ontrol ;anel and ?iring: The electric control panel 4if possible and fi*ed
package design6 shall be mounted integrally with the "eat ;ump. The
"eat pump shall be wired in compliance with the 9ational ,lectric &ode
and all local codes. The unit will have phase failure and phase rotation
protection relay.
&. tandard ;roduct: ,quipment and component parts of standard
manufacture shall be provided to the ma*imum practical e*tent to facilitate
spare parts availability. &omponent parts need must be products of the
same manufacturer.
@. Accessories: Accessories shall be included minimum:

equipments.

facilitate correct water balancing during installation to ensure reliable
operation at #$%&
"eat pump has on board data logging to allow immediate fault analysis
and short service turn1around.
"eat pump has refrigerant pressure monitoring to keep allow diagnosis
and preempt maintenance
"eat pump has connectivity to the 32 system via 3acnet and 2odbus
without a gateway to allow the heat pumps to be monitored remotely and
controlled if necessary
