This document covers the numbering system for procedures, specifications and drawings and
the coding for lines, equipment, and instruments to be applied during the execution of the
Project.
The purpose of this procedure is also to define the format to be used for the preparation of
project specifications and drawings.

abbreviation will be essential to differentiate and identify the document for individual site 0e.g.

letter abbreviation will be based on the type of the item e.g. equipment 0tan3, vessel, compressor,

!ll the document*drawing serial number will have fifth bloc3 as /iscipline identifier. This three
letter abbreviation will be based on the discipline e.g. Process, echanical, Civil, .lectrical,
<abrication, !dministration etc.

!ll the document*drawing serial number will have sixth bloc3 as document type identifier. This
three letter abbreviation will be based on the type of the document e.g. calculation, drawing, data
sheet, Technical ,id .valuation, aterial Ta3e Off etc.

!ll the document*drawing serial number will have seventh bloc3 as document revision status.
This will indicate present status of the document i.e. ! - internal review, ,- approval, = -
construction etc.
