CORRUPTION/

ANTI-CORRUPTION
IN AFGHANISTAN

A Selected Bibliography

U.S. ARMY WAR COLLEGE LIBRARY

September 2011
i

PREFACE

Corruption impedes the process of creating stability and providing good governance
within the country of Afghanistan. Strategic leaders must be familiar with this topic in order to
assist with anti-corruption efforts. The purpose of this bibliography is to introduce some of the
resources readily available at the U.S. Army War College or on the Internet about corruption and
anti-corruption efforts in Afghanistan. It is not a comprehensive listing, but is intended to be a
starting point for research.

With certain exceptions, the materials in this bibliography are dated from 2006 to the present.
All items are available through the USAWC Library. For your convenience, at the end of the
entries, we have added library call numbers, Internet addresses, or database links. Websites were
accessed during September 2011.

Our bibliographies, compiled by research librarians, are available online through the
Library's home page at http://www.carlisle.army.mil/library/bibliographies.htm.

For additional information, please contact the Research, Instruction, and Access Services
Division, U.S. Army War College Library, by sending an e-mail message to
